Not sure what is up with Collins, he was not to impressive tonight.
Made a couple good plays defensively, but yeah didn't look comfortable offensively.

His shot preparation and release on his 3 ball has been really inconsistent and I feel like his sense of timing and space playing in pnr and off the ball has been an issue for him, especially when playing with Meyers.

His finishing limitations cropped up again tonight too. He's effective when he makes the simple play or has the size advantage, but he too often wants to put the ball down and bully or skill his way into scoring around the basket and he just doesn't have the strength, length extension or athleticism to be very effective versus legit size.

And I've gone over the finishing issues multiple times as far back as before we drafted him. He's effective when he makes the simple play or has the size advantage, but he too often wants to put the ball down and bully or skill his way into scoring around the basket and he just doesn't have the strength, length extension or vertical athleticism to be effective vs legit size.
Good call. He's really mechanical right now. Thinking instead of doing. When he plays with flow, he's good, but right now he's lacking confidence and worrying about getting fouls called against him.

Source: MSN: 'They started talking a little bit too much,'' Nurkic said. ''But I'm too busy to have all those conversations.''

Damian Lillard scored 26 points and hit key shots down the stretch, but Nurkic's 17-point, four-block third quarter was the talk of the Portland locker room after the game.

''He was huge. They blocked a few of his shots but we just kept giving it to him in the paint and he figured it out. He got his timing down and getting into Rudy's body. He started rolling,'' Lillard said.

Some of the dudes on Utah carry themselves like they’re champs or something. Specifically Jingles and Crowder. Crowder hates Nurk because Nurk don’t care and looks at him like the bum he is.
