I don't see how I could be "upset" by a months-old decision on a 14th man, but at the time I was certainly disappointed that we didn't keep him, and I definitely see how it could have benefitted us. At the same time, given the luxury tax considerations, I understand the decision.

Just given up on the injury report?

iu

Have a feeling we get THUMPED tonight.

Where is the injury report CC? Don't make me file a complaint with the Darkwebs Commission.

roco prolly out for a week or so with that sprain. Nas out with the shoulder.

is elleby about to get like 30 mpg?

Can we hurry up and trade the players we are going to trade before any more of them get injure more seriously?

PLEASE!!!

guessing here, but probably:

Ant/CJ/Powell/Elleby/Nurk

with DSJ/Ben/Watford off the bench. Poor Greg. No minutes even when like 4 guys ahead of him go down.

That is brutal. How bad must he be in practice?

given how open Chauncey seems to playing young guys, pretty damn bad. it's not like this coach has a mandate or proclivity only to play vets, unlike the other guy.

teams don’t practice much during the season. He’s the most raw player on the team, by far. Those two are a good recipe for not getting minutes. I’m pretty sure he will have to play tonight tho

Yes, both RoCo and Little are out - so a team with no size has even less.

hard to see any of the remaining Blazers being able to defend Doncic

Nurk has to stay out of foul trouble

Looking forward to a close loss tonight and moving closer to selling off at the deadline and playing for a pick.

I was (and still am) a bit worried that we’ve been playing well enough to trick management into “going for it” this year, swapping our guards for some mid-tier wing pieces, then rushing Dame back at the end of the year to compete in the play-in.

This is still my fear, and thus, I hope we lose a lot between now and the deadline.

With Nurkic being so important on offense lately, he needs to stay out of foul trouble. Nurk and Billups and the team need to minimize Nurk's exposure to moving pick fouls. Nurk doesn't need to set those. Use someone else. Keep Nurk near/in the paint.

I think Watford will get the start. If it's all small guys around Nurk (considering none of our small guys seem to be capable of keeping their man in front of them) the Mavs will just drive to the basket until Nurk has to be a turnstile or is fouled out.

He's already at the arena 3.5 hrs before the game? These guys...

It's in memory of the anniversary of Kobe's death. Players don't see the same rivalries as fans do.
i don't think you could find a bigger Kobe hater than me, but even I got emotional when hearing about the crash. I was on vacay in Mexico at the time and it threw me off the whole day. Had to call my pops to talk it out, because I feel like he and I watched every big moment in Kobe's career for 20 yrs together.

this was bigger than basketball.

I get that. Kobe was no saint and while I am sorry for his kids and family, his death didn't really change my perception of him as an arrogant, unsavory character. Great Bball player, less great person.

Let me quote from The Wook Of Bookee .....er.... The Book Of Wookee:
"It is a moral imperative to hate the L*kers."
