A two game sample size showing 1 less attempt for a guy who has no chemistry with his new team might be a little early to draw a conclusion.

I agree with you that Norm taking more, quality shots would be a net positive for us. He doesn't appear to have the shoot-at-any-cost mentality GTJ did.

I would prefer to see 4-5 fewer Dame/CJ yolo shots and 4-5 more silky smooth Norm spotup threes.

There might be a few nights where Norman Powell gets hot. If that happens and Dame feeds him his shot rate will go up. I'm actually looking forward to the game where a team puts a blanket on Dame and CJ only to have Powell torch them. It's a real possibility. Love to see him drop 30 on some team. I'm sure Dame wants to see it as well.

More likely (like has already happened) we will see CJ go 8-26 while Powell goes 7-13....and is rewarded even more the next night by getting 6 shots.

Man I like Norm a lot but if he leaves after the season I think you have to fire Neil. I really thought we would move GTJ for a similar talent at power forward or small forward.
