I still think we should add a math class during camp. If there are 5 guys on our team on the ice and 5 guys on their team on the ice and we are in the defense zone, what should the equation be? One guy on our team against one guy on their team right? If you are standing by yourself, that is not good and that means they have someone open to score against us.
 
Pretty sure everyone on this board loved the Yandle trade at the time.

Easy to hate it now

I agree with the defensive part but not on the offensive part. Yandle just needs to be paired with a stay at home D. That is why he and Big Mac where a good pair. IMO
 
Zucc and brass have been terrible aside game 2. These guys decided to take an early vacation.

The whole team has no legs. All these 7 game playoff series over the last 4 years have killed this core.
 
Blow the fuck up and retool the team. The pens have quitly done it over the last two years. Now it is the Rangers turn to catch up to the league.
 
That was a real bad one to give up. Probably the worst yet. Really in trouble now.

The Rangers after the start never looked like a team facing elimination. They came into this period sitting back waiting for the Pens to score.
 
Cant go on the deep playoff runs every single year with the same core. Has to end at some point. Not possible these days unless you have Kanes or Towes on your team. Even they are in trouble.

It's all academic at this point. Just what this team deserves. That Nash crap reminded me of his change in LA that went off the stick when he had a wide open net.

That sequence pretty much sums up the series/season. Yikes.
