What a play by Kreider. He is really solid in the playoffs.

Klein with 4 career playoff goals. LOL way to go Nash.
 
Kreider makes a huge difference. His speed and size is tough to deal with.
 
MSG will be ready to explode Sunday night. I hope this team responds.
 
Well, the Pens will come out on fire in game 6 you would think. We need to match that early...we MUST match that early. Team scoring first is now 15-0 in this round. It matters.

Need to come out and HIT them. Play them as physically as we played them tonight and as physically as we played the Philly series and we should be able to force a game 7. Gonna be a HUGE first ten minutes if that game to set the tone.
 
They can't let the crowd get them too overexcited where they lose track of what's going on. They need to come out with the same "nobodys expecting us to come back" so lets just play.
 
They score 4 quick goals on Fleury again not only is it going 7 I think they win the series

Thinking the same thing. They have played lousy in front of the home fans this year.
Cannot figure this team out. Positive consistency is a non factor.
 
You can't ask much more than a game six at home. I can't see them losing all three home games in this series so I think this thing is going seven.

Will have to overcome 2 big negative streaks to finish this off the right way. 1) Break the record of12 or 13 I think consecutive losses after a win and 2) never coming back from a 3-1 deficit

They won games six and seven against Washington last year to win that series so it can be done.

Its 13 consecutive losses when leading a series, not following a win. Took 2 in a row last year against Wash.

I guess the good news is we won't have a lead in this series until we win it
 
Like they say one game at a time. I'm just glad the season continues.
 
First game this post season that Pens lose in regulation. Now, two more......
inconceivable, yet very doable.
 
Funny how 2 days ago everybody was jumping ship, nobody gave a F anymore, now everybody on board????, ive said all along its a best of 7, Funny how some of you guys bash the team when things get bad and love the team when things are good, Its never going to be easy, its never going to go perfect, every team has ups and downs.... just like our season where we would lose 4 games in a row then win 5. It is what it is, This is first year for AV and you guys need to give the guy and the team a break sometimes, Yes Nash has been a disappointment, Yes our D has not been good compared to how its been in the past, but some of these guys are playing there hearts out,

With that being said i don't know if were going to win the next game but i hope to god that the MSG crowed dont start booing when they go 0-2 on the PP in the first period. That does nothing but make things worse, they know what they have to do.
 
I don't care who thought they would win game 3, or 4, or 5. Or who thought they would lose game 3, or 4, or 5. Means nothing to me. What matters is game 6. And if we want last nights win to matter in the big picture we need to win game 6. That simple. If we come out tomorrow and lose a 3rd home game in this series, last night means nothing.

So have a good day today, stay focused, and come out flying on the MSG ice tomorrow night. Make last night matter by winning game 6, then put ALL the pressure on the Pens in a game 7, and let the chips fall where they may in an anything can happen game 7.

That's what it's all about now, and all I care about now.
 
The team had 15 shots and 28 giveaways in what most people would assume was a must win game 4 at home. Total no show. I loved seeing the heart yesterday and I'm not giving up hoping they can keep it up but pretty hard to not be completely deflated after what we watched G4 and what we have been subjected to as fans past 20 years

Trust me...if you were in the building for all of game 4 it was even worse Dis. More shots in the 1st period of game 5, 17, than all of game 4, 15. Sad stuff in game 4. Great comeback effort last night in game 5.

To make it stick and matter though we have to win game 6. To win last night just to lose the next game at home and get elminated anyway, would be bad. Need to at least get this to game 7 now to back up last nights effort.
 
Yeah I bet that was a miserable 3 hours in MSG Chuck

I hope they have another players only meeting prior to game 6. Whatever was said it worked. Except for Nash and Stephan.
