annnnd yet another season high we just gave up. nightly occurrence.
 
Twice in a row Simons, his defensive tool that is missing is awareness.
 
Not going win many games playing defense like this it's pretty pathetic right now.

The big problem with Simons he didn't have to play defense in high school and a lot coaches at that level really don't know how to coach it properly. Simons just don't understand that part of the game yet like he knows how to score. Can learn sure if he wants to put the effort in it.
 
This looks like Dame and CJ type of game CJ with 19 attempts and Simons with 17.
 
CJ with the most inconsequential 30 ive seen this season.

At least good stats from him and Norm. Build that trade value

Does playing at the same time as an NFL playoff game mean we can call ourselves a playoff team now?
 
Well... DeRozan just slaughtered us.

There's just no doubt in my mind that the right move is to be shopping every active player on this roster. The only two guys who are currently roster players that I need to see with this team next season are injured (Dame and Nas). Make as many trades as you have to, including as many teams as you have to, to get a couple of actual all star level players who complement Dame.

After we trade just about everyone away, the day after the deadline we need to convert Watford to a regular roster player and try to lock him up on a three year rookie minimum deal.

Daryl needs an elite perimeter scorer and that is the one thing that CJ definitely is. Oh and CJ is also a pretty damn good passer into the post when he wants to be.

Agreed, I was saying that as a mentality he may have adopted being “raised” by Dame & CJ.
 
this was either a case of Portland's good offense being worse than their worst defense...or, a case of talent wins...or both

I didn't know anything about Ayo Dusunmu, but he really impressed me today. Big PG's who hustle like that with his kind of vision are valuable
 
shrinkage of game threads continues - 3 pages as I post this, Chauncy most be going crazy with the defense he sees being played with our turnstile guards
 
Nurk....not nearly as good when playing a decent center somewhere near his size.

And ban the 3-guard lineup.....FOREVER! They can score, but are also a complete sieve on defense.

The NFL thread was popping so there was that, too.
