Was last night's game against the Lakers the best Blazers regular season win that you can remember?

Yeah CJ is selfish for sure....

That's an area posters haven't acknowledged. McCollum is more than willing to play Robin to Lillard's Batman. Not a lot of stars are willing to deflect to a superstar. I might have this wrong but I thought there were rumors in Washington some issues between Wall and Beal when they have been playing together. Beal is a very talented player but would he be willing to deflect to Lillard?

Wow, another great win last night. I feel sorry for those that said they were done watching this team this year as they have missed the greatest stretch of games by any individual Blazer in history.

We have a superstar folks. Enjoy it.

Yeah, funnily enough there's also a bunch of posters on every teams forum that think their coaches are great and think they're better than those who disagree. Hmmm, sounds like this forum too.

It's despicable when, in a fun win, I have to read this silly shit to get through a game thread.

Solution. Don't read it. Not everyone likes seeing many of your posts in a game thread.

Buy out candidates. Every season bad teams cut good veterans ala Enes Kanter. Darren Collison, Iggy, Jeff Teague, DJ Augustin, etc. Can't we offer than most with the injury exception earned from Rodney Hood?

Other teams have exceptions as well and the difference in amount is really negligible as the player is already being paid by the team that releases him and the player will likely choose a team that they feel fits their needs as opposed to one that can offer a little more money.

Schematic Flexibility!
See that big circle in the middle? That's the basket in this one. I really like the pass/fail diagnostics for the Comprehensive Test Portfolio.

Does anyone have a link or know where I can find Dame's post game locker interview?

Love how Dame specifically names all his teammates when the whole story is about him. Best leader in basketball bar none.

I think Dame really appreciates Trevor, singled him out twice lol.

Like Lamar Hurd has stated several times, there is not a better leader in the NBA right now.

not only is Dame on a super-nova tear lately, he might lead the league in political skill; making it better is he's almost certainly sincere in what he says.

I actually pulled all these from the Utah message board tonight. Even at 32-17, all fans with the same complaints, you couldn't even tell the difference.

:breakdance:
Yeh, I didn't think they sounded exactly like what I had heard before.

Not sure if I can recall bigger back-to-back wins in the regular season. To go into L.A. for Kobe's memorial game to play one of the three best teams in the NBA and return home to face a playoff-bound team that was almost built to give us headaches and win those by an average of 12 points, this was something that was unbelievably impressive, considering what this team has been through this season.

And Dame's not a superstar. He's a Hall of Famer. He's everything that's best about basketball and about sports in general.

"A team with HCA right now has some fans that don't like their coach, obviously their wrong, and therefore, the fans who don't like our coach are wrong too!"

So dumb.

Who are you quoting there? I'm assuming you didn't just make up a quote, but that's some twisted logic whoever said it.

I cant remember the last tine where I've come out of the blue randomly referencing other posters on here, especially in the condescending, self-righteous tone that KJ does. Its fucking annoying.

In all seriousness, sorry about the game tonight, I was pulling for the Niners as well. Still a great season though!

Appreciate it man. Im fucking crushed right now. Kinda annoying KJ waited until right after this game to reply and start this shit back up. Im gonna have to put him on ignore. Should solve that issue, even if he'll get bored.

I was responding to yall, keep up buddy.

Talk shit to my face next time you see me then, since you love to sit behind a keyboard and pound away at it.
I'm surly too Bones. Been a Niners fan since way before you were even born.
But i'm gonna tell you one time. Lets put down the personal shit.
I'll buy ya a cup of coffee anytime and talk. Just say the word. No need for that stuff.
Your a great dude. You are one of the biggest sports fans i have ever come across. I have absolutely no personal vendetta against you whatsoever.
But if you think for a second i'm gonna take that kind of comment and not call you out on it then you are sadly mistaken because i will talk shit to your face. I will talk it and laugh out loud while doing it.
Your choice on how you want to respond to that. The olive branch has been offered.

You want to take this further go to PM. Not that i will guarantee a response. But at least you can insult me at will and not be banned.

Good. Maybe then you won't jump in my conversations. Because i most certainly will not stop posting.

If only you kept that same energy in regards to other people instead of only the team.
Bones? I only know you from the forum. I assume you are a decent hard working young man that has a lot of potential to accomplish the things you set out to do in life.
How about we try not to get things crossed up here? I assume you have no idea what i do or what kind of energy i expel towards people because if you are basing it off an internet forum you might be mistaken.
Again. Anytime you would like to sit and have a conversation i am more than willing.

Bury the hatchet on this. I will do my best keep things on the up and up in the future. Not exactly sure how the road got messed up in the first place but the only way to fix it is to start somewhere. I'll take the first step.

Just because hes not a selfish person doesnt mean hes not a selfish player.

I'm surprised i actually had to say something that is so logical. Like stotts being one of the worst coaches ever. Just logical.
I understand what you are saying. But pretty much every quote about CJ is about his willingness to let Dame be the man and right now he is letting Dame get his. I don't know CJ personally and i don't play with him. But i have yet to read about any player that has ever played with him call a "Selfish Player". On the contrary. They say just the opposite.

I'll try and outline what annoys me in a way that might help us find some common ground. This in no way means I think I'm better or worse, just talking about what I see:

I'm not going on here to seek conflict with you... If I ever voice displeasure with you, it's not going to be about your opinion anymore, it'd be in reaction to something you're saying.

I don't think any of my posts in here were trollish, and I wasn't trying to annoy people. I was reacting to what I saw out their on the court, and I'm personally invested in the team. You don't have to agree with what I see, I don't really try to change anyone's minds on Stotts in here anymore, I just post what I see. When I see what I think is a problem with things like our scheme, I'll mention it. You can disagree. it's perfectly fine! But I feel like a lot of times you're disrespectful about it:
This is exactly why i laugh at the negs around this site. They are on every board for every team. They all think they could run the team better and or coach it better. And yes it's FLAT OUT COMICAL because reading it it's exactly the same statements that get said here. You set that up perfectly! Someone read it and immediately assumed that was from this site. Hell, they even knew what posters wrote them.
So here I am, happy about the win and I come on here and read some disrespectful blanket statements that don't directly reference me, but I know you're applying them to me: "That's why I laugh at the negs around this site", "They think they could run or coach the team better". "it's FLAT OUT COMICAL", etc...

Just seems like you're trying to put down people on this forum without mentioning them so that you can say "It wasn't directed at you, not everything is about you" if someone doesn't like it.

It's the same thing... I feel like you know what you're doing more-so than you let on. I just don't know why it has to be like that.

I'm not perfect, but I've tried to stop going after you or trying to change your mind on things. It's fine if you disagree, at this point all I want is to say what I think about what's happening on the floor and talk basketball! I want to cheer when good things happen, vent a little when the game gets frustrating, and have no issues! Instead I read that and it feels like you're mocking me and others here, and then when I take issue you pull the classic "This is why people don't come here anymore" under some quoted tweets of mine where I'm just reacting to what I see on the court, among some of the other things I outlined above.

I'm reactionary when it seems I'm being mocked or disrespected for no reason... That's not even that upsetting to me, there will just be continuous arguments and conflict at that point. Maybe one day I'll have enough self-control where I won't be reactionary at all, but I think I'm better than I was in the past... Regardless, right now I think things would be fine if it wasn't for stuff like this because I'm not trying to force my thoughts on you, ridicule you for yours, or mock you for them. If I slip up and do that, you can say something about them and I'll try to make sure I don't. I'd just appreciate the same in return, and I think it'd solve a lot of our problems. Our opinions still might annoy each other or we may disagree about things, but it shouldn't lead to this type of conflict in my opinion.

Good for him. The stats and eye test of him as a basketball player (Again, not person) says something different.

Nothing logical about saying Stotts is one of the worst coaches in the NBA, but don't let that stop you from making illogical posts.

Please quit. He already said his post wasn't about you and just meant in general. If you took it personally then that's on your conscious, not kj. Learn to let it go and you will be better off for it.

This post just proved his point, thanks Cup!

KJ, that's kind of an olive branch, but do you think it would have been a better one if you left out about two sentences that sounded quite confrontational?
