Little got an extended rotation in the 1st half and played well.

just go up and create, norman. no need to feed dame every time

Wow! Giving up 50 points to the Pistons at halftime. And Jordan Kent says the Blazers clamped down on defense?

CJ goes the bench the offense and defense pick up and close strong in the quarter. Lately with CJ been the point guard our offense been terrible with that 2nd group and defense haven't been much better.

Jones plus 12 in 8 minutes; Little plus 13 in 13 minutes. Confirms the eye test.
I think Olshey has already decided he can't afford to re-sign Jones (because he wants to sign Powell) so they don't want to encourage him to exercise his option by playing him a lot.

A comfortable game for Portland. Blazers Cozy enough to try new lineups vs Pistons.

First CJ/Little/Jones/Melo/Roco

Then

CJ/Powell/Melo/RHJ/Roco

RHJ and Melo in at the same time seemed to throw things off a bit.

RHJ brought energy, albeit unfocused, and didn't do a whole lot in his first stint.

At least Ant was excised from the rotation.

Also RoCo played 19 minutes in that half and didn’t get a single point, rebound or assist.

Stop with the facts

It's actually not much of a fact.

Portland ranks 5th in 1st half scoring. (58.4).

Detroit ranks 28th (53.4). So we only held them to 3 under their average.

Orlando is the worst.

So while 50 is low scoring. It's actually fairly average.

That's two days Little has looked good; I think his defense is getting better every game.

I'm seeing improvement as well... he was often in the wrong position earlier in the year, but that's getting better and he has the length to make up for it at times (others on this roster don't).

The post I replied to was that 50 points in a half is actually low scoring for the NBA, not giving up a lot. You just proved that to be true. Seems like a fact to me.
