I suspect it will continue that way until the Olympic break. I am hopeful that by then a few moves will have been made and some of the younger players will get more ice-time. Not sure what gives me any hope that will actually happen.
Great job by the Rangers, they completed the perfect sweep in CA. Still tied for 2nd worst in the NHL based on points %.
Bruins, at Isles, Isles next 3 games, let's keep the perfect streak going.
One of the bigger issues is the Rangers refusal to accept reality. Last year Drury uselessly trading for Soucy was a perfect example, instead of keeping the extra pick, playing vets and not calling up kids now is another example. Outside of Dolan in general, one of the biggest reasons the Rangers have sucked for decades is they will not accept what needs to happen for the future. There is no reason the kids aren't playing now, even if the kids are at best average, it makes more sense to play them over scrubs like Raddysh and Blidth. Hopefully they'll wake up after they make some trades post the Olympic freeze.
