I don't think Ariza's reaction just about that one play.

I was thinking that as well. He thought he should have got a call on a couple other forays to the hoop. That was just the top of the volcano finally coming off.

Damn, Ariza went from old and washed up in Sacramento to fired up and ready for war here in Portland.

AND I FUCKING LOVE IT!
I didn't LOVE IT. Was stupid. and Selfish. Left his teammates out to dry.

Bullshit that was a 2

It was 38-29.......Utah on a 15-3 run and playing with 7 players. This could get painful.

this 2nd quarter is a classic example of what a 31M/year 'lead' guard option should be doing for Portland...but isn't

This CJ/Melo pairing that Stotts goes with to stem the tides. It’s brutal

This looks just like the other night in Denver. Team plays well to start. Then starts settling for contested jumpers early in the shot clock. Loses lead.

I really hope when we get blown out tonight that people realize this isn't about effort or coaching. We've got 8 guys available and only 2 of them played rotation minutes last year.

Last game before the all star break. Ariza has been around a bunch. This is about showing the team the attitude it will take to be successful. Wouldn't surprise me if this is something Lillard and him talked about doing.

Melo, CJ, even Whiteside could use more fire.

Play Dame the rest of the game. He can sleep on the plane.
