Isn't that last nights crew.

And if basketballs had barbed wire embedded in them, Gobert should have made a better decision than to spike it after it came off the glass. But since the game is played according to the rules of basketball, Dame is entitled to think the league would make use of refs who were endowed with the basic senses needed to make an obvious call at a critical point in the game.

Or just go total savage. No refs and no rules other than whoever scores the most points gets to cut out and eat the hearts of their opponents.
I’ve thought for a long time that the game should be played with a mush round ball to take away the dribble. Only passing and hand checking allowed again. 15 second clock

Have the players wear protective gear, like football. But with one rule.

No blood, no foul.
Also, fine a player for every dribble.

one things I'm questioning about Stotts last night: over the last 2-3 minutes, Utah repeatedly got Swanigan in screen-and-roll. They were exploiting Swanigan's poor foot-speed and lack of mobility; they were scoring with ease. I think Stotts should have tried Gabriel. He's much quicker than Swanigan and may have better length. I mean, since Utah was scoring just about every time against Swanigan, if Gabriel would have failed it would have made any difference.
Good one! You almost had me there, believing Stotts actually makes in-game adjustments!

I do agree goaltending is a dumb rule, but I also believe that they should actually call the rules they have on the books.

You realize that without the goaltending rule 3pt and midrange shots would all get swatted as they are coming down at the rim right ?

I had the exact conversation with my brother. Biggie made it look like WWF, or like a matador bullfighting, or play acting.

If you go by FIBA rules, that isn't the case. I'm in favor of FIBA rules.

The Blazers with their big guys would be ready for the rule change.

FIBA still has goaltending.
the only difference is you can tip the ball after it hits the rim. So kawhi's famous bounce bounce shot probably never would have gone in.

Goaltending/basket interference No blocking a ball in downward flight towards the rim. Once the ball strikes the rim, any player can play the ball (i.e. swat it away or tap it in)
