I think it’s a combination of him being hurt and the fact that we’re playing better teams that know to trap and blitz him incessantly because we don’t have an answer for it.

It was close. So Dame had to take a couple of unnecessarily more-difficult shots because he'll bet that he can pull it out at the end. We have a 3-on-1 to tie, miss the shot and don't hit the offensive glass. RoCo misses a 3 and doesn't follow his shot which would have been a pretty easy offensive rebound for him. Now we're down 8.

Nurk's always hurt. If he's not hurt, you still don't know what player you're getting. Anyone putting their faith in his hands right now deserves whatever they get.

I don't think it has anything to do with CJ running the point because our offense does not rely on a PG. The 2nd unit as a whole is just not very good.

yes, but his reads have been slow. spoelstra is a genius at mucking up offenses. dame is forcing stuff. we know terry isn't helping at all, but shots like that pull up contested three when he had both roco and CJ under the hoop can be avoided

I think this is a good opponent for using 3 guards. It worked in the 1st quarter. Miami traps a lot. We need the 3rd ball handler and we need to attack the basket.

Smart point guard would get rid of ball the trap. If they don't work on then it's the coach but if they do then it's the guard fault but we don't know what they work on so I am saying it's probably little bit of both fault.
