Not upset about this one. Best we’ve looked against a playoff team in a long time. It could’ve gone either way. The important takeaway is Nurk is rounding into form and we are way better on both sides when he is on the court. +19 in 25 minutes. He’ll have to play 35-38 minutes to win big games down the stretch and in playoffs. He was just scratching the surface of his potential tonight. I really enjoyed that game. Time to beat up on a couple mediocre teams now. We’ll get another test against Clippers next week.

Exactly. And a big reason we were in this is because of Melo. The problem isn’t too much Melo. It’s not enough Melo. When he’s on, it’s always competitive. When he’s off, we’re terrible.

Won an NCAA title (which is really hard), (3?) Olympic Gold medals, and made it to the WCF in his NBA prime where he won 2 games against a Phil Jackson coached team.

They may not even be able to hold off Memphis for #7...
Especially considering that Portland plays Memphis 3 times in the next 2 weeks.
