Nurk is the last Neil piece I want gone. Toronto or Charlotte make the call.

You all can sugar coat this and say it's the plan to "tank' and say it's what you want but this is not good at all any way you slice it.
This team now has a poor coach, Players that can't compete, and no trade assets. Lillard will be gone next year and you are looking at 2-3 years of playoff drought if not more.

Be careful what you wish for.

bold?

giving up starters for little to no value is not bold. it's easy.

I am not saying that the moves were wise, but there are still some IFs that could happen. (possible lottery pick, possible FA with cap space, possible Bledsoe trade) Also, does this now allow us to get the full MLE?

I am not confident that we get a star player from any of it, but did we trade a star? Not according to countless negative CJ posts every fucking day and throughout every game thread.

It is possible that we still get a couple of good additional players from all of this. I guess we will have to wait until July to know for sure.
The ones I wanted to keep we still have. (Dame, ANT, and Little) Nurk is the wild card. I would prefer to keep him but if he pouts then he needs to go too.

With Hart on board, I still think we are in the same boat as before the trades.......we need a PF. Are we now in a better position to get one?
I think the rest are replaceable. (Talent-wise)

One plus for sure is we are in a better "tank job" position for our own lottery pick.

Huh? It's called taking a risk. I'm much more happy to swing for it and miss then to never actually take a chance for it all.

We knew what we got with something for 10 years. It didn't work. It proved it didn't work.

At least now we have hope.

We have a great coach, Young players who are competing and getting better and two possible first round lottery picks. And lillard seems to be onboard with it.

Great Coach? Excuse me?
This dude is a clown show at this point.
He’s gonna struggle for 2-3 years get fired and go to another team and apply what he learned here at that job and then maybe he will be a good coach.
Let’s hope I’m wrong on this but from the way it’s looking I think I got this one pegged.
