Again, really curious as to the records of teams who scored the first 7 points in OT and then lost - Im trying to search for it..

Fans seem to think Aminu is such a great defender but that was an abysmal performance in that last play in regulation on Milsap.

He shut Millsap down all game. In the end he gave up an off balance, left handed slop shot that Millsap was forced to take at the last split second. We got a little unlucky that it rolled in. He probably got a little over aggressive when he saw Millsap start to bobble the pass though. Could have stayed in his stance more and made Millsap shoot a contested jumper.

In the 6 minutes and 43 seconds Dame wasn't on the court, we won by 15. Yikes!

He was beyond dreadful tonight. I'll give him a bit of a pass due to the post-trade funk, but he has to reignite his engine and soon.

We were in there. Getting the 7 point lead is part of being in there to the end.

It should be more "we didn't make the stops necessary to not let them back in." I think that would be more appropriate, IMO.

We need at least one more front court player that can get off their own shot without forcing hero ball. You can't win with Vonleh and Davis getting major minutes.

And yes, I agree Stotts is part of the problem.

Hello Jusef! He is very good at the P-n-R....which makes sense because who in their right mind is going to get in his way as he is attacking the basket?

That was mostly when Aminu and Ed were carrying us on both ends in the first half. Even Pat made a 3. It's not like that crew is going to log major minutes and sustain that success. And they were playing Atlanta's scrubs.

I still cant believe that happened. Giving up a layup to tie the game

Getting the first 7 points and losing.

The conspiracy theorists may be right with this tanking thing... because if so, that was a masterclass performance.

Yeah, I call shenanigans on the Blazers tonight.

There was a double OT game against the Spurs a couple years ago and the Spurs took quick 6 point leads in both OTs but we came back and won. Dame had like 40some points,

This one? http://www.landofbasketball.com/box_scores/2014/1219PORSAS.htm

I wonder, though... since it was 7/7 and 8/8 in 1ot and 2ot if it was 6-0, 6-0 to start? or 8-2, I guess... I am also looking for more getting the first 7 points... but yeah, still impressive... I wanted to see if I could get a play by play countdown... will have to look.

Meyers: "No one wants to seize this opprotunity more than me."

"I played as hard as I could."

"I gotta keep earning my teammates' trust. I do a lot of good things on the court."

(tried to transcribe it as fast as I could.)

Jesus......

Hopefully, Allen forces Olshey to cut this clown.

Keep earning? So you have earned it in the past? That is up for debate. As for "a lot of good things".....that is highly questionable.

He's OK. Playing him 27 minutes is hopefully something we never see again.
Until Nurk get on board you might see it some more. In 3 season Nurk only average just over 17 minutes a game but hopefully maybe that was Denver doing not his being not in shape.
