I heard Panarin wants four years at 11 million. Honestly, he deserves that he is still one the top scorers in the league but if he wanted to stay with the Rangers, he should’ve taken less.

He is not the same player. Not even close. Iam not paying for a guy can produce in the regular season and then disappear in the playoffs. No thanks. If you’re the highest paid player on the team you should produce in the playoffs.

He would be a great fit in SJ and the run and gun WC. They need a vet scorer to help a young team on the cusp of being a perrenial playoff team. They have plenty of cap room.

I'm not surprised, I always thought Panarin wanted to be paid well and wasn't giving the Rangers any hometown discount. Good for him, certainly his right to maximize his $$$.

I'm sure at least one team will step up with the right package, including a 1st round pick, and a willingness to pay Panarin what he wants in a new contract.
