I mean, they are young men, but more like Young Men's Basketball Association.

I understand his mindset. I agree they were the superior team and should have won but he just called Nurk (#16 pick), Simons (#24 pick) Dennis Smith (#9 pick), Ben McClemore (#7 pick), Justise Winslow (#10 pick) and a couple second round picks in Elleby and Greg Brown a bunch of YMCA players. Are they All Stars on the level of Lebron and Davis? No but these are not Rec league players. These are guys that have given their entire lives to the game and development of it.
If i was the Blazers at this point i would play that video every chance I could get. Disrespect gets no worse than that. But then I'm much more competitive than most i guess?

fuck Worthy, that's straight disrespect. Entitled POS. YMCA guys? these are all dudes in the NBA, you hack.
Absolutely agree! I just learned a little about you as a person. That is exactly what i just felt when i read that. You sir are a competitive warrior and it made your blood boil a bit. Read my post above!

Nurk doesn't look slow if you pass it to him while he's cutting. Our dumbed-down offense has made him look slow.
He looks a lot faster on offense than on defense. But somehow his advanced defensive stats look really good.

LeBron is 37 years old and has played over 62k minutes. It's amazing how productive he is this season.

However he isn't a 27 year old MVP LeBron that can carry a team in the regular season or the east playoffs. He's one of a couple dozen top allstars in the league. Put plenty of them on a crappy roster and the team won't be good.

LeBron's biggest downside this season is that he's a shit GM, and the Lakers are dumb enough to give him that sway.

Crazy the betting line for the season on the Lakers was a 52-30 record. A lot of people now are acting like it was certain the Lakers would be the mess they are, but I heard lots of predictions of them at the top of the west back then.

That's a reach. Smith, McLemore, and Winslow are all unanimously considered draft busts. Their standing in the league doesn't reflect where they were selected.

I'll grant you Nurk and Simons. I think they both have a generally perceived vibe of having been 2nd rounders who took a few years to get established.

Lol.... nobody around the league thinks of Nurk and Simons as a 2nd rounders that took multiple years. Both were 1st round picks that showed big upside their first season.

People generally remember Nurk languishing on the bench behind Jokic. And Simons showed big upside his first season, really? He had one good game at the end of the year that half the board felt the team was trying to tank in. It was an early toss-up between Simons and Trent, as far as who would actually stick in the league. Many people had given up on Simons as recently as December.

I don't think I want Bron; he seemed to be really showing his age last night.
I 100% do not want Lebron James anywhere close to this rebuild or the culture and style of play Billups is trying to develop.
