What a great win for US last night! WE really needed that W!

Listening to Cowherd this morning--the Laker kvetching is glorious.

That's a reach. Smith, McLemore, and Winslow are all unanimously considered draft busts. Their standing in the league doesn't reflect where they were selected.

I'll grant you Nurk and Simons. I think they both have a generally perceived vibe of having been 2nd rounders who took a few years to get established.
To me it's a way bigger reach to call them YMCA players. What I posted is factual. They are all first round picks. They would destroy players at the 24 hour fitness down the street or the YMCA.

It's an insult, for sure, but it's indicative of the way those players are viewed by pretty much everyone but diehard Blazer fans. Where they were picked has absolutely no bearing on that.

You sir are a clown. I wish we had a player that could show his age by getting 30/7/7
@SlyPokerDog I just want you to notice that he insulted the poster not the post. And, HCP, I'm a little disappointed in you, sir! Now, if you had said "comedian", not "clown", it might have been ok.

I agree but honestly i'm talking more about it being an insult to the actual players not Blazer fans. Like i said in the original. I'm a competitive spirit and there is no way i would live with that sort of thing without taking it personal and making myself better from it. It would boil inside me the rest of the season.

...playing 2 on 5

I enjoyed watching last nights game more than any other all season.
The ball movement, (bye bye CJ) the hunger (bye bye RoCo), and the impact defense played by DSJ and the others (bye bye Norman) had me yelling
for the first time all year, as I watched the replay at 1:00am of a game I already knew the outcome.
That was fun!
I realize that team couldn't win 29 games, but if that was "Chauncey ball", and maybe, for the first time all year we got a glimpse, then count me back in!

"Snail Blazers"? WTF? That comment was much more insulting than the YMCA sour grapes. And the way he said it.

The "Snail Blazers" ran around and all up and down on the Lakers backs last night.

That was maybe the dumbest thing that dude could have said.

Gotta love all the butt hurt piss and purple butt holes out there.

I don't take these things as insults. Any team missing FOUR starters isn't actually the same team, and this team is missing bench players as well.

Shannon Sharpe's take on the Lakers losing to the Blazers last night was hilarious "Who the hell is CJ Elleby?!"

Statements like this are why it is hard to take the national media seriously. They cover every sport and every team, so I understand why they don't know as much as the fans of each team. But at the same time why should, we even listen to their opinion?

Personally, I like Stephen A, but his "disgusted " comment on the CJ trade was idiotic. Why should good players only be traded to good teams or big markets?

I didn't mind Stephen A's take--I personally agree with him--seeing CJ on the 76ers with Embiid would have been fun to watch.
