I think he had back to back ankle tweaks but not sure he's on a minutes restriction. He does have a bum ankle issue.
 
When we saw Anfernee Simons trying to force the ball into Jeremi Grant for no reason whatsoever we knew something bad would happen.

One possession in the 2nd he fought through 2 screens while Ball was bring the ball up the floor, then deflected the ball out of bounds. On the inbound they ran a screen to get ball open and Camara drew an offensive foul on Nurkic. Just insane stuff that doesn't show up on the box score at all.

You asked. I answered. It wasn't a 30-point game when he got his third foul. He played a couple of minutes in the 4Q because he played so little earlier. Did you want him to play 10 minutes of scrub ball in the 4Q when he just hurt his ankle last week? Do you think that's prudent? He played well tonight in limited minutes. Good grief.

I swear, some of you guys would complain about micro-managed minutes, passes and defensive switches even if we swept our way through the playoffs.

We complain about minutes BECAUSE WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE REBUILDING AND TANKING. IT'S FUCKING MORONIC TO BE PLAYING VETERANS ALL THESE MINUTES.

Clingan is like that too. He'll defend the hoop battling with several of the opponents' players, cause a poor-quality shot that is missed, then tip out the ball to a teammate. None of it shows up in a box score.
The Blazer who gets the ball will get credit for the rebound.

Clingan also many times is blocking out his man (Mark Williams), then someone like Simons comes in to grab the rebound.

Would love to see them keep feeding Toumani that three right now. He's getting into a rhythm, and they need to building on the momentum.
