I've never seen a Blazer team go from unknown quality to playoff bound so quickly. It's like they all got better as players on the same day or something. Truly inspired stuff.

I think he forces those up too much. He's the kind of guy that should play scrappy defense, shoot his open shots and take it to the rim when he has a lane.

He's not forcing it though, he's trying to take those shots. He actively seeks them out. He is obviously uncomfortable shooting the 3 and thinks a 22 footer is easier than a 23 footer. He needs to get over his mental block and realize that taking a half step back behind the 3 point line isn't a big difference. He's a big boy, he's strong enough to shoot that shot without breaking form. If he's going to throw up a low percentage jumper I'd rather it be worth an extra point when he makes it.

Stotts gives all his players some leeway with bad shots. It's why guys love playing for him.

Which is why I'm not advocating to tell him to stop shooting altogether. Just make it worth your while if you're already out there.

I said it earlier, but I think you have to keep giving Meyers a chance to earn minutes. You can always play Harkless more if Leonard is hurting us, or find other ways to get Harkless in.

Also, some matchups will suit Meyers better than Harkless.

He's barely useful. He hits a few open shots every now and then, he's a decent post defender, but there are few post players in the league anymore. Hark is younger and has much less playing time in his career and is already much better.
