That whole possesion did it, I think the flagrant was kind of a bad call, but Draymond was pretty determined he wanted to hit Zach, but then they ended up between free throws and Jake giving up 8 points and that game was over.

What we know about KD is he's not a leader of men. That GSW goes as Curry goes.
KD was clapping trying to encourage his team, and then spoke to Green after he got called for holding Jake.
Only to pick up a stupid foul himself.

I doubt with their coach still on the sidelines the game gets away from the defending champs as easily.

Best part of the run was seeing CJs ass glued to the bench. Stotts eventually brought dame back but not CJ. Time to stop giving the special treatment to CJ. Only one person on this team has earned the benefit of the doubt and that’s dame.

Best 4th quarter of the year,
First 4th quarter comeback,
Great ball movement,
More size on defense,

CJ not in the 4th quarter for the first time in a loooong time.

....I don't think these things are a coincidence.

??? Hitting another player in the face is an auto-flagrant - refs had no choice. Weird to see Kerr go crazy over that.

NBA needs to clean up the 3 point shooters who are constantly initiating the fouls. I know Dame benefits too but watching Steph ,Durrant, and Harden is not fun because of it. It is ruining the game.

28 shots between Dame and CJ for the win. 41 points for the bench. Now that 2nd unit not a good rebounding group due to Hood and Layman not strong rebounders. That way I would go with Zach along side Kanter. So me it's Turner or Curry see there minutes go down.

I never saw a camera angle that made it look like he hit him in the face, he was definitely going in to try to hit him hard, but it seemed like arm and ball to me, maybe thats what I get for watching on my laptop tonight.

A couple years ago I thought they had an emphasis that if you pump fake and initiate the contact that it was a no call. They called it that way for a few months and then went back to calling it the way they do now. I don't think it should be a foul if you move underneath the defender when he's in the air if he wouldn't have otherwise made contact.

I'm pretty critical of Stotts but this was impressive by him. I give credit where credit is due. The other side of me kinda thinks he would have reverted back to an inferior team. Who knows. Impressive nonetheless tonight.

Layman is the difference maker. He needs as many minutes as Damian and CJ.

Just as expected most of the national media is blaming the bad flagrant call as the reason GS lost. I'll say it again, look at the way Green acts when he commits the foul. It wasn't to stop a dunk like Kerr is claiming. Green was mad about several calls (and he had no right to complain about those either). He purposely fouled Zach hard to get the refs attention. He's staring down the ref before he even finishes the foul.

The foul itself might not have been flagrant but as @dviss1 mentioned in the thread about the Beal travel when you understand people's intentions from watching/playing/reffing thousands of games you can absolutely determine the purpose of the foul and make that judgment. If the Warriors don't like it then tell Draymond to stop yelling at the refs after every call.

By today's rules that was a flagrant 1.

This is wrong and the rule prevents injuries like Pachulia on Leonard.

The principle of verticality (basketball term) says a player whether on offense or defense owns his spot on the floor where he stands to the ceiling. The same applies to an airborne shooter. If I jump, I'm allowed to land without being impeded.

I know that, it isn't what I'm talking about. If the offensive player pump fakes from a standing position and the defender jumps but wouldn't have come down on the offensive player but the offensive player ducks or lowers his shoulder into the person who jumped (even if it's non vertical), that shouldn't be a foul but they call it a foul all the time in the NBA.

We are exactly .750 at home and .400 on the road.
24-8 and 10-15.

Therefore you can confidently bet money that we will finish with exactly 47.15 wins (.575).
41 x .750 + 41 x .400.

I didn’t even notice CJ not playing in the 4th...

If he just had Lou Will’s mentality he could be incredible for us. Be some 6th man killer and you’d have a long and prosperous career on a good team(s) CJ. Instead of an overpaid offensive second option starter.
