Good job by Terry. ET had a bad first half and Terry now has other options.
Yay - now instead of playing that dickwad Turner we get to play that assturd Curry! Hooray! Just so long as Collins remains glued to the bench...

Yeah Curry did not play well either. But the good part is it shows Terry is not stubborn with his rotation.

God damn.....the “why can’t I see this thread” post will go down in the S2 HOF right next to the Melo and FAMS thread!

Centers consistently post big statlines vs. the Nets so I’m not gonna get too excited about Nurk and Kanters performances as if its a sign of things to come.

Were Nurk and Kanter making their NBA debuts or something?

Shocked...

Second unit should be

Turner/Curry (not both)
Hood
Layman
Collins
Kanter

I agree with you but whose minutes do you cut tonight? Aminu , Jake or Harkless?
Aminu and Hark both played well.

This 48 year old man thinks he opined the term "FAMS".

Yikes. But I guess I'll let him have this out of kindness.
Once again, what are you talking about? Go back and learn the history of this forum, before you post. I didn’t start the infamous FAMS thread. BenDavis did.
Back to your parents basement and do some homework little boy.

*Anxiously waiting for your witty reply.

You probably have no clue who BenDavis is do you?
He was a young chump of a kid who seemed to think he knew EVERYTHING better than everybody else. Hadn’t really experienced much in life, so it baffles many on here to why he would treat people the way he did. He’d attack any poster who’s opinion differed than his. He was an expert on every topic and nobody else knew what he knew. I actually think he still lived at home as well. Funny when you really think about it. Kept it up until he was finally banned. Crazy huh. The FAMS thread was his final straw...... the nail in his coffin.

Looks like trust is something that Harkless needs. Instead of cuting him, Stotts played him in s5 and Moe feels good when he feels he play a role in team win. I still belive in him. Looks like all he needs to contribute is selfconfidence and strong will to play ball. Trust him and he will reward you. (I didnt like 1/5for 3 dou).

Great games by Nurk, Kanter, and Harkless.

I hope we get aggressive Nurk the rest of the year. I love when he gets into the body of the defender and takes his time to go up strong.

Kanter has an unique combination of power and soft touch. I love the way he not only fights for position on offensive rebounds but he also is planning on how he is going to score while he is getting the rebound. I'd kinda like to see both Nurk and Kanter at the same time against teams that go small and just post up which ever one isn't being guarded by the center.

Harkless was involved in the offense in a way I hadn't seen him be with the Blazers. If he wasn't immediately open he would quickly dribble to the other side of the court. I think it confused the defense at times and eventually led to some open looks out of the scramble.

Solid road win.

I'm super excited that Kanter had such a great game but Zach Collins and Meyers Leonard with a DNP-Coach's decision worries me. We can't afford to waste any tool in our arsenal, need to find a place for them all

What?...

Why? If 5 guys playing 48 minutes every night gets you a championship, you do that.

Stotts wanted to take a long look at Kanter tonight with the second unit...Zach and Meyers lost most of their minutes with this move but we have 5 7ft players now...that's some insurance..
And if we know 1 thing, five 7 footers is how you win in todays NBA

Sometimes the bench is an entirely appropriate place for tools. Not all tools need to be used all the time.

Definitely a good win coming out of the break. One thing Nurk needs to improve and that's his decision making as he tried to force passes that weren't there and lead to too many turnovers. Keep it simple. Great contribution otherwwise.

Ridiculous to see how good (offensively) our centers were, and how bad everyone else was.

Nurk/Kanter: 45 pts, 21 reb, 18-24 from the field in 48 minutes. That's basically a prime-Wilt-level line.
Everyone else: 68 pts on 28-81 (.345) shooting.
