Who wants Blazers for breakfast?

No partying on Friday night if you wanna watch this game live on Saturday. This game is specially dedicated to you early-risers!

Hopefully, the Blazers are fully awake for this one because they have a tendency to start out games half asleep, even in those games played in the evening.

In the previous game against the Nets, Kanter made his debut, putting up an impressive 18 and 9, going 8/9 from the field. It'll be tough to top a game like that, though his play on the other end of the court was found wanting, as the amount of D he played was the number that's on his jersey.

Philly will want some payback for that drubbing back in December, so they undoubtedly will come out with some fire. The Sixers have several guys out, so this is a winnable game for Portland, though it won't be easy. But this is the best Blazers bench we've seen in years. I'm excited to see what happens this season with some dangerous reserves to back up our solid starters.

RIP CITTTTY!

I voted for Kanter, but I think Hood will have plenty of decent to good games, I think he’s a good addition too. Also both seem to be pretty good guys off the court.

I wasn't able to watch the game today. I was really hoping to catch Kanter's opening night.

The Blazers are back to that 12 games over 500 mark for the 3rd time this season.

They're trending right at 51 wins for the season. With Hood and Kanter added to the rotation, I have hopes that they can keep up this pace to finish the year out strong.

Why would you not just record the game and watch it when you got home?

Am I the only one who thinks that this injury is being over-exaggerated so no one questions Turner about being benched or hurting his feelings?

The only thing I'll say that is somewhat bad about Turner being out is he does defend Butler decently.

"Injury"

I see what you're doing there Stotts/Olshey.

Hopefully this means we will see the Collins / Kanter pairing.

I am sure Collins can probably guard their back up PF Mike Scott, but that means he won't be around the rim to help Kanter.
About half of Scotts shots are 3's.
