They should have called another T a bit later when Jordan clearly fouled Lillard on a drive, and Jordan ran complaining clear to the other baseline, and kept screaming at the refs that it was a 'block', and Rivers was all over them about it too. On an obvious foul where the defender flew laterally 6 feet through the air to crash into a player attempting a layup. But I guess it was 'too soon' after the 'message T' so they held their whistles. Whine City. The cake was Doc telling the sidline reporter at the half than none of Chris Paul's fouls were fouls. SMH

I was thinking the same thing. He clearly "showed up" the referee. It was a horrible display of whining and immaturity.

IIRC Blazers were lob city when we had Rudy feeding LaMarcus. Led the league in lobs, no?
I believe so.

It wasn't just Rudy, it was Andre Miller (mostly), Rudy and Marcus Camby (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap) from the high post.

I reckon Camby to Aldridge led the league in lobs that season.

Refer to this post from last year.

It seems weird not seeing LaMarcus Aldridge on that list. I remember he was top 5 in the league in dunks back when he had his breakout year playing with Andre Miller. No wonder he loved Miller so much. Canby also used to be pretty good at throwing him the lob from the high post.

I think we led the league in alley-oops that season.

From memory Camby to Aldridge was the league leading alley-oop pairing that season.

Rudy was also good at throwing the lob, especially on the running pick and roll.

A couple from Patty, just because.

I only caught highlights of this one. Was Dame guarding CP3 pretty much exclusively all night? Seems Stotts should throw some different looks at him and have Dame on Reddick when both are in the game.

If you don't watch the game how can you critique Stotts? Unbelievable.

We guarded CP3 with Nic and Wes often. CP3 was dominant on both ends of the court. He sets up everything in their offense. Reddick needs someone to help him setup his shots, which CP3 did. Our defense is great against teams like Houston who go to the rim or shoot 3's but against a PG with a lethal midrange we have no answer. Our bigs always sag back. That could lose us playoff games.

CP3's defense was great, he traps but is able to rotate afterwards if a pass is made. Dame was terrible and his off balance forced 3 at the 3:04 of regulation was a poor decision. He forced another deep 3 pointer earlier. Its not normal to see Damian lose his composure and I credit CP3 for that. Dame was rattled.

The 18 rebounds were very cool; a career achievement. Lopez and the team should share a lot of the credit as we did a great job boxing out the Clippers. I could care less if they have DeAndre get 19 rebounds if our team outrebounds their team and thats what happened.

Yes, Camby and Aldridge connected on more alley oops than any other twosome that season. We were the real Lob City.
