Sorry man. What seed did you think we'd be this year? Did you have us going 82-0? I have news for you. You might want to sit down... We may lose 20 of these this season and you won't like it when they are close losses and you won't like it any more when they are blowout losses.
I thought we'd win 56. But now I think it'll be more like 40 and no playoffs.

People hold the Blazers to a higher standard than even the champions, that's all I'm saying.

No, you're making up shit about the Warriors, trying to condone the Blazers underperforming.

Everyone in the NBA is one of the best basketballers in the world. Any team can click on any given night. You've got to bury sub par teams early.
Like the Warriors do? Like the Cavs do?

I wasn't trying to support your statement that he needed a footwork coach. I don't know if coaching is the reason he sucks this year. But you responded by saying that Nurk shouldn't be expected to have good footwork after losing 30 pounds, which I found to be absurd. An athlete isn't going to lose coordination just by losing weight, and I don't see footwork as being his problem.

You need to reread it then. I implied it would be silly to expect a player to go from having bad footwork to fully refined footwork in a single offseason, especially when working to lost about 30 pounds. I was implying that working that hard takes time, and so does working to improve skills. There are only so many hours in a day. I didn't say anything about this losing coordination nonsense. That's all in your mind.

I'm starting to think that CJ is actually worse at defense than Damian is.

That is, imho, the surest sign that a team is not ready to make the move from an average team to a competitive team.

Until they learn to take every game seriously and play with intensity, they will remain an average team.
Just about every team does that, its why everyteam has so many head scratching losses when you look back at the year.
