There’s no easy road games. Every team can beat you at any given time. I hope the Blazers just finish the Cavs early on and don’t give them any hope.
No, there are VERY easy road games......and guess what, there are VERY hard home games. There’s no easy road games. Every team can beat you at any given time. I hope the Blazers just finish the Cavs early on and don’t give them any hope.
You are correct and the Mavs game, SUPER hard.I dunno. The Philly game was pretty easy.
I know its only game 3, but it is in the middle of a road trip, and they might be looking past Cleveland a bit. They should still beat em pretty good, just building up the excuses just in case lol.No, there are VERY easy road games......and guess what, there are VERY hard home games.
Normally sure. But this schedule as long as it is, is favorable with us not having any back to backs. I think that day off on the road will keep them dialed. Just my opinion.I know its only game 3, but it is in the middle of a road trip, and they might be looking past Cleveland a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing us rest Dame, CJ, and Nurk and starting everyone else. Or maybe just rest Dame, or a combination of players. This is a long road trip.
I would rather do that in Toronto where a loss is expected and you might sneak up on them starting bench players. (See Houston @ GS) Doing that against a team like Cleveland could give them more confidence. They have won 3 of 4 and put up 139 in that loss. Taking Dame, CJ and Nurk out of the lineup makes the game a toss up.
I dont want him to miss an all nba team.Good. Hope there are a ton more to follow. I don't look at it like he hasn't been scoring a bunch, I've been impressed that his dimes and rebounds have been up. Dame is the type of player who can do more than score, we just haven't had the pleasure of seeing it very often.
His 50 point game is close to comingBeen a while since we saw a big scoring game from Dame
If he misses the All-NBA he wouldn't be eligible for a Super Max extension this summer. Depending on your viewpoint of giving Dame that big of a percentage of the cap it might not be the worst thing in the world.I dont want him to miss an all nba team.

I wouldn't be mad at him for taking it, he does deserve it if he stays. At the same time if he isn't eligible for it and he stays it at least wouldn't be the organization's fault.if Dame loves Portland and wants to win, he would decline the bump and provide portland the flexibility to sign more talent. He already has a max and a huge shoe deal. Money is not an issue umless its more important to him than wimning.

I always think that way also.I would rather do that in Toronto where a loss is expected and you might sneak up on them starting bench players. Yes. If he earns it on this contract he should take it. Next contract he can take less to keep the team going. But this is the big one for him. I also would not have a problem at all with him taking a supermax.I wouldn't be mad at him for taking it, he does deserve it if he stays. At the same time if he isn't eligible for it and he stays it at least wouldn't be the organization's fault.
Unpopular but to me theres only like 4-5 guys in the NBA worth the supermax. Now saying that, if Dame is eligible and wants it you basically have to give it to him, and he’s very close to that 4-5 group. Just that number is a lot of the cap...If he misses the All-NBA he wouldn't be eligible for a Super Max extension this summer. I don't know, it hasn't really mattered to a few players like Kawhi, KD, and AD lately. I'm not really worried about Dame leaving like those guys.supermax increases likelihood of dame being a blazer for life
I really think that the plan was to let him get 100% healthy before the post break run...we missed him against the Pels and he is ballin' right nowWe need headband Mo to show up from here on out. He was strong last year before getting hurt and we’ll need that Mo back for the playoffs.
Dame just played minimal minutes in a blowout and just had a 9-day rest.I wouldn't mind seeing us rest Dame, CJ, and Nurk and starting everyone else. Or maybe just rest Dame, or a combination of players. This is a long road trip.

Him declining $5M more a year will not affect our trajectory whatsoever.if Dame loves Portland and wants to win, he would decline the bump and provide portland the flexibility to sign more talent. He already has a max and a huge shoe deal. Money is not an issue umless its more important to him than wimning.

Hmm, that would suck.
How many more generations does $35M take care of?I mean is there a massive difference when talking 205 or 240 MILLION dollars. Can’t you pretty much get whatever the fuck you want with either?
