We could really use Hood right about now. The injuries have just killed us. Most of the guys who got minutes tonight weren't even supposed to play this year.
Meh, cant base it off the start of the year. In that case Miami has teo starters that werent supposed to play this year and could use that for every loss. All our starters this game have proven to be capable and deserving of minutes. Simons was supposed to play this year.

The good news: Trent looked decent.

The bad news: even with Whiteside and CJ playing OK, it never really felt like we could win this game. When Dame plays well, it usually feels like we at least have a chance. With CJ and Whiteside it just doesn't seem to matter that much. It's a bit of a head scratcher. :dunno::smiley-hmm:

And no, I don't expect people to agree. Just venting.

So you expect the chances of winning should be the same with McCollum and Whiteside compared to McCollum, Whiteside and Lillard?

My expectation? If you put Dame on one team and CJ/Whiteside on the second and give them equal supporting casts, I would expect the Dame team to have the better record. Flame away! :onfire:

and what does that have to do with what I said? You are moving the goal posts now. :biglaugh:

What did your comment have to do with my original post? If somebody else had made that post - pointing out that a player's impact is more than stats - would you have had the same response? Were you reacting to the post, or the poster?

Have a nice day!

it's interesting how many moves from last summer seemed pivot on Kanter's 'to-be-or-not-to-be' moment

Thus the reason the Blazers gave Kanter such a short time to make a decision as other decisions needed to be made.

In a season of so much misery, I thought this such a great and genuine moment.

Very thoughtful of Melo to autograph the jersey in a tough loss. And I love the astonished reaction of the fan, looking like an S2 member being kissed for the first time in his life. :)
