This is a perfect example of why I don't think Dame/CJ work long term. If CJ isn't hitting shots, he is almost worthless on the court. You need someone who is more than just one-dimensional opposite of Dame.

the game against Utah proved you wrong. Dame needed someone to take the pressure off him and CJ did it masterfully. He hit a big three late tonight too.

Eventually, Lillard will hit a big shot in every play of the game, and someone will do a megacut where it's an entire game but only Dame's big shots stacked up one after another like cord wood.

If It were only a one time occurrence, it wouldn't be a big deal. CJ is a very talented scorer but needs to bring more to the table than just that on most nights.

This can't be true. I have been told several times by people on this board that something that happens in the first quarter is not as important as in the 4th quarter. So using that flawed philosophy, the 5 second call, which is a TO that led to 2 points was more pivotal than the Harkless steal that led to 2 points.

It was a solid first two quarters, one really bad third quarter, finished with an amazing clutch performance by Dame in the 4th. So kind of a three layer cake with two decent layers, one layer of shit, and the most delicious icing you’ve ever tasted. Just enjoy the icing and skip the rest.
