The 2014-15 team was the last time this team played any defense on the 3 point shot. They were the 8th best shooting 3 point team and the 6th best 3 point defense team in the league.

Granted, there's like 2 players left from that team.

Sometimes when you have true point guard that can score and find open players when you get double to get rid of the ball before you get double. This pretty simple you think and as good offense players that Dame and CJ is you think all these getting they would figure that out.

Trae Young is 0-4 from 3 and 2-8 from the field yet Stotts chooses now to throw double teams at him? He's not even willing to do that usually when players are actually killing us.

You literally can't make this shit up. The only possible explanation is that he's trying to tank games, nothing else makes sense.

I wondered about that also; seems as if Trent was doing very well on him earlier.

Yeah, I guess that explains the rest of the season when he pouts when things don't go his way.

As good as he is, he has a lot of faults. I still don't understand why he (his contract) wasn't traded at the deadline.

Seriously, you would think with the season slipping away the the Blazers would at least show some fight and leave it all on the floor.

Instead they play like they don't give a fuck if they make the playoffs or not. If that's how they're going to play then fine I can accept that but I don't want to hear one of them talk about the playoffs anymore.

There's not a lot of realizing going on by the Blazers as a group.

They couldn't realize the game of basketball if it bit them on the ass. A group of guys on here could probably beat them

I see nothing resembling team play. Its as though you have a bunch of guys that just got together the play a pickup game.

Part of that may be on the players but realistically, that is on Stotts. No game plan. No team plan. When you let your guys do what they want, there is no structure, no discipline, etc.

Its just hard watching the Blazers play. There are other teams that are much more enjoyable to watch - teams that move the ball, have activity, have excitement.

This game screams CJ & the scrubs with CJ being the head scrub. I sense no urgency or caring.

I feel like there is just a CTC mentality among the team right now. (gotta recall Rasheed Wallace for that reference).

I dont know what to make of it. I mean I complain when he doesnt try something new so its kind of hypocritical for me to complain when he does. Whats frustrating is look how good ATL is at making EASY passes to wide open guys. Maybe the Blazers should look at the tape and say oh thats how you beat a trap....

Terry does this shit to try and prove that he's smarter than others.

There is absolutely no reason to double team Trae in that situation without a pick with the game he was having. It was in an awkward spot too where he could easily pass out of it and set up an open shooter. Terry refuses to double in situations that actually make sense.

He's doing it on purpose so he can say "see double teams don't work" so he can justify his regular crappy defense.

This game seems different? Have the Blazers finally quit?
Did they all find out Nurk isn’t coming back?
Is Dame out another week or two?
They are playing like the season is over now.
