We've seen NO improvement defensively this season. Actually regressed. Shouldn't our phenomenal coaching staff be helping our players improve defensively? Especially the players that have the most room for improvement?

That's my biggest issue with the team. They have athletic players, they have smart players, they have players capable of playing defense (maybe not stifling defense, but defense none the less)...but they don't even seem to care to try to play defense or coach it.

It's hard to tell between the terrible coaching, the complete lack of effort, and the dumb way they play.

Its like the whole team has taken the Wiggins "I'm not paid to play defense" statement to heart.

If the team is playing with such apathy, is it any wonder that I'm feeling likewise? Right now, I'm finding it hard to care about these players.

Give me Dame, Nurk and Collins - guys who play with heart and I don't really care about the rest.

I think a lot of it is just how stunting and boring the offense is. I hate how many players the Blazers have that Stotts won't play and finally by their 3rd season he's decent. And then gone.

It forces players away from their potential strengths (shoe-horning in 3 pointers into every players game).

Now, I'm not saying players shouldn't shoot 3's, but it's like Stotts goes "oh hey, just shoot 3's!" and nothing else.

They should've given Little more time, and should've actually ran plays that make sense for players other than damian and cj (the offense should be flexible).

I know i'm not a player, but when shitty teams can stop you, there's a reason.

I don't judge peoples effort because studies have proven we're not good at telling the difference between someone "trying hard" and someone not executing well. Because of this, I've never once said our effort was good or bad tonight, all I commented on was the roster talent, and somehow you took that as me saying our effort was good.
