And the hits keep coming. Blazers has now lost 5 games in a row, their longest losing streak of the season. Portland has lost 9 of their last 11 games, and 10 of their last 13.

The 2 most crucial of those all those losses just occured at home against Memphis, and now the Blazers are about to fall to the 8th spot in the West, when they were 6th just 3 days ago.

Gotta get a win here to stop the bleeding.

A sub .500 team. Blazers win!?!

not only that, Sabonis, Myles Turner, and Jeremy Lamb will probably miss the game so Portland will finally be able to pick on somebody their own size

Is it possible even to completely drop out of the top 10? We'd have to lose every single game, right?

The Pels are 26-34 right now. They're six games behind us. We have 12 games left and I think we could very easily lost most of those games.

Tell Dame to stay away from Sumner. He keeps taking players out

I hate to say it but the Blazers may well miss the play-in. I think Dame is playing hurt and will probably need a long summer off to heal properly. I hope I'm wrong and they end up making some noise in the playoffs but I'd be surprised.

However, Pelicans could lose a lot also. They play Clippers, Warriors three times, 76's, Mavs, Lakers (last game, Lakers might be full strength), Hornets, Grizzlies. Only really easy games (maybe) are T-wolves and OKC.

I think it's unlikely that we completely fall out of the top 10. I agree with you. Just saying I guess it's still hypothetically possible.

They have enough of a lead over #11 place Pels that it's HIGHLY doubtful that they'll miss the play-in games.

Portland has a six game lead & owns the tie-breaker (making it essentially a 7 game lead). There are only 12 games left in the season. Let's say Pels optimistically go 9-3 the rest of the way. They'll have a 35-37 record. Portland would have to go 2-10 the rest of the way to miss the play-in games.

Portland could go 2-10; I just don't think there is any way Pelicans could go 9-3.

Lottery pick

Portland won't fall lower than 10. It's just whether they then win the necessary 2 games....or they keep their Lottery pick.

No Sabonis, Turner and Warren. Go Blazers! Get that 10th seed

We are 6 games wins or Pels loses or combine together to clinch a play-in my suggestion is when do sit Dame the rest of the time until then.

Sitting Dame didn't help

Imagine if we lose to the Pacers without Sabonis/Turner. That would be a new low.

without Warren and Lamb too

I'm pessimistic about the Blazers but it's hard for me to be that pessimistic

another bad loss coming? If so then does it become SuperNova time?

...and no Lamb? They BETTER win this. Sadly, winning it with all those players out does nothing to change the narrative. It will just be a win against a sub .500 team without many of their better players.

They really should blow the Pacers off the floor.

Sumner better stay away from Dame
