I think some of them could be much better than they show but when the coach has essentially taken the plan to play as a team away and gone with hero-ball, if you are one of the heroes, what is the point, everyone else is a munchkin.

Why would he be excited almost knowing his 3 minutes are almost up?

Pacers move the ball SO MUCH better and more quickly. So much more enjoyable to watch.
