No new player will help If Kreider and Zibaneshit play like dogshit 5v5. Hard to get on Panarin but he hasn't been great 5v5 either.

My hope/the hope would be that if you give Kreider and Zibanejad a very good RW they will pick it up at even strength. We'll see if that holds true.

At the end of the day, this game was a toss-up between two good teams. We'll improve this week, and we'll maybe see Florida again in the ECF.

Igor on top of his game is as good as anybody. Like I said last night though. In a big game at home against Florida you cannot allow a goal like that be the difference maker. In fairness though they have often times give up way too many shots and high quality chances.

Hopefully, they pull off a couple of good moves at the deadline. The playoffs are a different animal and many times depends on who’s hot going in and or who can flip that switch to the next level. How many top teams have you seen exit early? How many unexpected teams make a run?
