• Saturday marks the second of two regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and the Heat in 2016-17. The Trail Blazers lead the season series 1-0.

• LAST MEETING: Portland defeated Miami, 99-92, at the Moda Center on Dec. 3. Damian Lillard scored 19 points to pace the Trail Blazers, while Hassan Whiteside registered 28 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Heat.

• The Trail Blazers have lost to the Heat the last four times the teams have played in Miami. The last time Portland swept Miami was the 2008-09 season.

• Damian Lillard is averaging 23.0 points and 6.3 assists over his last three games against the Heat. Lillard has scored 30 or more points against the Heat two times in nine career matchups.

• Maurice Harkless has reached double figures in two of his three games against the Heat as a Trail Blazer and is averaing 11.0 points on 13-of-22 shooting in those games.

Could be a tough game for Nurk tonight. Hard for me to predict this one, I think it can go either way. I also think Whiteside could be so focused on the guards in the P&R that Nurk could end up feasting tonight with nobody else to help with him.

I'm not expecting much from this game. Heat are playing extremely well right now. We're on the second of a back to back. I'm very happy with a 3-2 road trip.
