Random note. Why have the Blazers started off games shooting at the other bench's basket? Usually they shoot in front of their bench in first half, and the opposing in the 2nd. They've changed this last few games.

Yes by exact wording it's not clear. I thought they meant as a Blazer, since Dame has only been a Blazer.

I was at the game tonight and it was an incredible performance by Dame. Literally every small run by Miami, Dame answered. Nurkic frustrated and took Whiteside out of the game. Whiteside started off hot and completely disappeared in the second half. Whiteside looked just like a frustrated Dwight Howard, crying to the refs and mentally checked out.

I was at the game tonight and it was an incredible performance by Dame. Literally every small run by Miami, Dame answered. Nurkic frustrated and took Whiteside out of the game. Whiteside started off hot and completely disappeared in the second half. Whiteside looked just like a frustrated Dwight Howard, crying to the refs and mentally checked out.

I remember at one point, the Blazers were up 7 late in the 3rd. Lillard was subbed out. By the 8:41 minute mark of the 4th, Miami had trimmed Portland's lead down to just 1 point and I was getting worried.

Then Stotts had enough of that. He put Dame back in and he subsequently drilled a 3. The Heat never came within 1 point of the Blazer the rest of the night. Stotts must have felt so good and relaxed, knowing that he had an ace up his sleeve the whole time Miami was making their late-game run.
