Will this season be Portland's best chance at a title in Dame's career?

They just hit their shots

I already know what the postgame is going to be:

"We played good defense for 3 quarters"

"Zach LaVine hit a tough shot"

"We missed a bunch of open looks we were happy with" <--- I am 100% certain they are going to talk about, citing all the open 3s they missed in the 4th. Ignoring all the garbage looks that went in early.

"We'll look at film and get better"

Coaches get fired midseason all the time. And you dont replace him with another team's assistant, and you dont replace him permanently. It would Tibbetts as interim.

That's why it would be absolutely useless. Because Tibbetts is just as clueless as Terry.

If Stotts goes I bet there’s a Melo meltdown when he doesn’t play.

The way I see it is that Stotts sees that Jones is not contributing enough on offense so he puts in Melo rather than changing the offense so Jones can contribute more.

I’d offer Hou whatever they want minus Dame right now. We are average at best. Let’s sack up for once and swing for the fences instead of bunting to move the runner over. Oh yeah and fuck Terry Stotts.

To late for that. If it was going to happen it would have already

I mean if this is honestly the offense we are gonna run why wouldn’t we trade for Harden, I’d rather watch 20 free throw makes in the 4th quarter than 10 missed iso 3s.

A great offensive minded coach would be salivating over this group of offensive talent. The pieces are there. The game plan and creativity is not. Players like Stotts because he gives them free reign to dribble around doing iso and shooting whatever they like.

We hated McMillans offense just as much. 4 in the corner and Roy playing iso. But watching his Indiana teams these days are the opposite of that.

D'Antoni is sitting on Nash's bench as his assistant in BK. Prolly wants a break from headcoaching, but I'd make him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Hell, what about bringing Vanterpool back?

It’s really frustrating how they’re wasting CJ’s hot start. How many years have we moaned about him starting slow? Now he’s essentially carrying the team offensively.

Dame has lost a step. He’s on the wrong side of 30

What? McMillan got fired after last season. His team shot the most midrange jumpers in the league.

This year, with a new coach, they shoot the 4th lowest number of midrange jumpers in the league.
