"NBA player scores a career-high against the Trail Blazers."

I wonder if reporters have a article template like that for the Blazer games.

We gotta step up our defense. Yeesh

We shouldn't even be thinking about a Championship with our horrendously bad defense. Every Championship team in the past has had a great defense, we are bottom defense in the league, it's not even close to be close

Gonna come right on out and say this game is going to be tough to win. Blazers on the first game back which is always a bad shooting night and the inside game has not gelled yet.
Kanter is outplaying Nurk at this point and Giles could be really useful.
The Blazers have some depth. Let’s see them use some of it.

It's true that Stotts does not react with on the spot defensive strategy, when an opposing player gets hot and owns us.
However, at .500 he should have a chance with four more games to reach my bar limit.

Now we enter the at-home, scrub portion of our schedule. The Blazers will win a majority of the games on this home stretch and some fans will think issues are fixed. Sigh...

As for the poll, 'best chance' is relative because as long as Stotts/CJ are part of the triumvirate, Dame doesn't really have a chance.

It looks to me as if we are better at each of the five starting positions. We better not lose!

DJJ as a Blazer so far: 7.3/1.0/4.7 on 32% shooting and 31% from 3.

Defensive rating is 6th worst only in front of guys like Melo, Dame, Elleby, and Blevins.

Why the fuck is this dude hyped by us? This guy is just another Harkless or Aminu. Ohh and he can’t shoot for shit!! Wtf is going on with this frnachise

Yep lets use stats and make a blind assessment. Absolutely do not take into account for who he is Guarding on a nightly basis. ie: James, Harden, Curry, George, Leonard.
That would be responsible. We absolutely cannot post using basic reasoning.
You just got kicked in the TUNCHI!

Probably the best chance for Dame to win a ring is this year and it's shitty shitty odds.

If I’m Dame, I will shoot whenever I get the ball and go for 50

Watch the win against the Lakers again. That is the DJJ/Covington we need to win championship. Yes, he's missed some dunks which is part of his low FG% but his 31% from 3 is better than his career average.

The official injury report for the Blazers only lists Zach as OUT and Hood as QUESTIONABLE.

That must mean Nas is back!!!

You're right. He probably won't see game action any time soon, but it's exciting nonetheless because he's been on the injury report for what feels like forever.
glad he's virus free and back practicing for sure...he'll get plenty of opportunity with this team if he gets in shape. Seeing Ant Trent Elleby Giles and Nas is a glimpse of the next chapter for the Blazers....

Oregon Scoreboard is giving the Blazers 10.5 points. Holy shit that's a tempting bet on Chicago.

I think the Blazers will win, just not by Double Digits.
