This team is so much better so much earlier than I thought they'd be. I think a lot of it is the defense, but it's the selflessness as well.

Yep. A big reason is CJ and the fact that Dame has been able to rise to the occasion of being The Man both of which wouldn't have happened if LMA had stayed. But you know who really deserves a big part of the credit? Stotts. He got this team playing on the same page quickly. Stotts COY, CJ MIP, Dame MVP. Go Blazers!

It is nice having a leader like Dame who plays with a lot of fire and passion. You can tell it brings out the best in his teammates. Aldridge would never have brought that to us no matter how hard (or not) he tried.
