Just like the game against the Heat, the Blazers will face another team that is on a roll and is fighting for a playoff spot. The Bucks have won 8 of their last 10 games. Luckily, the Blazers have done the same. This is gonna be a good matchup!

Spoelstra on Dame:

“There's less than five players in this league that you have to do something different on your pick and roll coverage. Lillard is obviously one of those guys. To be able to score basically 50 on 21 shots on the second of an early back-to-back just shows you his efficiency. Doing something different schematically, that’s on me. There should have been an adjustment at some point after probably he had 40.”

Teams have a tendency to "relax" a little the first game back after a long road trip. We have seen this many times from the Blazers thinking they don't have to play as hard as they did on the road in order to get the win.....and then end up getting blown out at home. Will we see it again?

Not with Dame's leadership.

Am I mistaken or was their last game Saturday night?

We have the gob to spit into their face. Lets win and be the best 8-2 in the last ten record team between us and them. Besides, Our pinwheel is better than their new lame logo.

Denver @ Houston tonight at 5PM. Could be playing for the 8th spot tomorrow night.

Harden better drop a sick triple double dammmit...Denver needs to lose. The clippers dropped the soap, I dont expect the same with Houston.

Moe is the starter until he stops playing defense.
When he stops playing defense Turner should take his spot.

I think Houston and Denver played a couple nights ago in Denver.
Will Barton missed a layup that would have tied the game? or won it? I don't remember if it was a 1 or 2 point Houston lead.
One of those million dollar moves, with a ten cent finish.

This is one game I might switch the starting lineup a bit. Vonleh has been playing well but guarding Giannis is just not a good match up and I think Aminu would be better in this case with Vonleh coming off the bench. Hope Noah doesn't get in early foul trouble.

First game back from a long road trip is always dangerous, but hopefully our newfound focus will win the day.

That's the problem with Lillard, when it comes playoffs time teams know they have to trap him out of the pick&roll and when they do it Lillard is nearly neutralized because he doesn't have CJ's ball handling and screens are the main tool he uses to free himself up
