Regarding their ailing players (Batum, Aldridge, etc), which road should the Blazers take:

Yeah, my bad. Didn't even read your whole post, lol.
I also hope Phoenix is so frustrated by this game that they take it out on OKC on Sunday. Magic number of TWO!

LA is a beautiful player and doesn't nearly get the credit he deserves. Hope we can close the deal in the offseason.
'Cause he plays in Portland.

He'd be in the MVP discussion nationally if he played in the East, or in LA.

I thought the bench looked great on both ends. CJ is was out there creating and finding the open guy. Freelands defense was outstanding. This is great news heading towards the playoffs.

44.4%

That's an okay shooting night.

But alas, that's our FT shooting %. (8-18)
Isn't Aldridge shooting something close to 90% from the line in March?
(I'm asking cause I don't know where to search)

I'm ready to trade Afflalo. He has been nearly invisible since coming to the Blazers. He doesn't do the little things that help teams win.

I do love that we expect Lillard to be amazing every night like even superstars never have a night off. It shows that he is that good.

Yeah it's not like he had 23/12/8 just last game...

He had a horrible shooting night but so did Batum, Afflalo, Kaman and CJ. And ten missed FT's?!

Amazing the Blazers won when they scored only 31 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined.

Defense won this game. We got a ton of stops that we couldn't convert

Please don't tell me that Nic's gonna start being terrible again, and this time we have to say it's because of a nagging back injury

Figure Nic still wasn't 100% but was out there trying to help. Awesome finish by LA - that's what a superstar does. Winning in Salt Lake and Phoenix in 48 hours is pretty damn good considering our history in each city.

Hell yeah!!

I agree he'd be in MVP conversation if he was in NY and had our record BUT Westbrook is in OKC and he is in the conversation. So it's possible in a small market. I think the key to Aldridge winning MVP is s winning 60 games. For the same reason, I think Curry is going to win it. Best player on the best team.

Well it won't happen. The trade deadline has passed and he is a FA this summer. We'll either sign him or not. As for his play, take another look at our last win over OKC. He was our third leading scorer with 18 points and he grabbed the most important rebound of the night. There was a playoff atmosphere and he came up big. Wait til after the playoffs to judge them.

This is LA's team. There's no debate anymore. I remember folks wanting to trade him for Taj Gibson not so long ago...whew!

I just re-watched the suns/blazers game... LA from 3 minutes on in the 4th... that was special.

total agreement..if he did that once in a while, he would be considered a very good player, but we are spoiled, he does it all the time..we are watching someone who will be regarded as highly as Clyde and Porter..enjoy it!
