Only way Gabe will be on PP1 is if Drury trades Trochek or Miller. He continues to hire coaches that suck off vets. I mean, useless Sheary still plays every game and our dickhead coach sits there wondering why the team loses every game. One cup in over 85 years for a reason. Organization for the most part has been run by dumbasses who have no common sense. Took them 6 years to put Lafreniere on the first PP unit. Shocking, when you do that with an elite talent he suddenly has 17 points in his last 13 games and would be on pace for 90+ points for a season with that production.

Please stop blaming the coach. The only constant through 3 coaches in 4 seasons is Chris Drury. It cannot be on coach after coach after coach, at some point one needs to accept it's the ONE Pres/GM, not the MULTIPLE head coaches. In addition, each of the 3 head coaches are WAY WAY more accomplished in their roles than Drury is in his, all made the SCF and 2 of 3 won the SC, multiple Cups for Sullivan.

That's not to say Sullivan, or any coach, does everything perfectly, no way, but big picture the mess the NY Rangers have become is NOT on the multiple head coaches, it's on Chris Drury who runs EVERYTHING in the organization.

And BTW, when you hire vet proven winner coaches, like Gallant, Lavy, and Sullivan, you get what you get. That means the expectation is the vet winning coach is going to play vets and is not hired to develop young kids with a focus on the future. So, even that "issue" with Sullivan should be directed at Drury. You don't hire a guy like Sullivan and expect kids and future; you hire a vet SC winning coach like Sullivan to win now (same with Gallant and Lavy). Bottom line, ALL roads lead to Chris Drury!!

Positive, another loss is great. Worst case the Rangers should finish with the 4th fewest points, and right now they have the 2nd fewest points in the league. Today they would have the 2nd best odds to win the draft lottery, and worst case looking at the standings, I don't see them dropping lower than the 4th best odds to win the draft lottery. From there we'll see how the ping pong balls bounce.

Please stop not blaming the coach you fucking stubborn jackass. It wasn’t Drury who didn’t put Kakko or Lafreniere on the first power-play unit for six fucking years. It wasn’t Drury who played worthless Sheary pretty much all season because he’s fucking the coaches niece. When you hire a coach, the coach ought to have enough brain power to do simple things using common sense. It wasn’t Drury who took a red hot Perreault off the power-play unit for a dickhead who’s been shit all season long. These are not general manager decisions. They are coaching decisions.

It also wasn’t the general manager who didn’t start Fortescue. Drury signed Iorio which is fine. It’s a depth move. However, when one of your best defenseman prospects signs a pro contract. You don’t fucking play that guy over him. That’s fucking moron coaching. It says a lot when Penguins fans were rejoicing that Sullivan was gone and look at the year the team is having. Of course I know that you didn’t see that because your head is up your fucking ass 365 days a year and you have vision issues.

I still think Muse fucking sucks. He just got lucky this year. Yet, you have to give Muse credit he played the kids which Sullivan wouldn’t. Yeah I liked the Sullivan signing, but I have to be fair. He’s been a cluster fuck with multiple things this year. The Sheary bullshit with family ties makes him look like a fucking idiot and he better get his head out of his ass. This is actually also on Drury a little bit also he should cut that guy and tell Sullivan you’re being a moron. I still think Sullivan can be a top coach, but the sucking off of veterans needs to stop because this veteran core isn’t gonna win him shit. This has been the problem with the two previous coaches as well as they would not commit to young players.

What makes you think Muse sucks? He is known for working and developing young players. You gotta take your chances with younger coaches who have paid their dues. Sullivan just does what every other dinosaur coach does.

Sullivan seems to have some stubborn tendencies with roster decisions but limiting Perrault's play time this season is inexcusable and 100% on him. I liked seeing Sykora get a chance, all young prospects should get a shot. Playing Igor every game is ridiculous with Garand up. Laf should surpass his career high 57 point season with 10 games left.

He’s soft and he has no balls. Eventually players will check out on him. Drury needs to do what he hasn’t done as our GM yet and that’s take away the fucking coaches shitty veteran role-playing toys. It’s one of the biggest things holding this team back. Kartye was an excellent find. Laba has been solid. Sheary the and Raddysh must not be on this team next year and Brodzinsky must be in the AHL where he is tremendous with younger players. Without free agent signings or trades the team should be as follows next year.

You guys are missing the point. You all said the same things about Gallant, THEN you all said the same things about Lavy, NOW you say the same things about Sullivan, when does it stop being on the coach? You guys really cannot see this? Over the past four seasons, three coaches, one Pres/GM with the same flawed roster, and you are writing the same complaints about the current coach as you did the prior two coaches. IT IS NOT THE COACH!!! I can bump post after post where you wrote the same things about Gallant, THEN Lavy, NOW Sullivan when does it stop being the coach???

And again, let me be clear, I am NOT saying Gallant, or Lavy, or Sullivan are beyond reproach or above questioning some of their moves, they made/make some questionable moves and deserve some questions. You can ALWAYS SAY with ANY coach, this one guy should play here, or that one guy should play there, that is ALWAYS THE CASE regardless of the coach. Big picture though, this mess of a team/organization is NOT on the MULTIPLE head coaches, it's on the ONE constant, the way in over his head Pres/GM Chris Drury.

Something else I am not sure you guys are understanding, YOU DON'T HIRE A VET PROVEN WINNER HEAD COACH AND EXPECT HIM TO PLAY YOUNG GUYS AND BUILD FOR THE FUTURE. I'm not sure why that is confusing. It's 100000000000% illogical. Once again, that is on your way in over his head Pres/GM.

If you wanted a coach who would play and grow young kids for the future, you DO NOT hire Gallant, Lavy, or Sullivan...PERIOD. I give Step credit, because he seems to be the only one understanding that. The rest of you guys want to put a round peg in a square hole. Let's bring in a two-time SC winning head coach, so we can play kids and build for the future, that is crazy. If you wanted to play kids and build for the future, you promote Muse and be done with it. Step wanted to take this approach, he wanted to promote Muse, so Step is at least making sense, not expecting Sullivan to be a play kids/build for the future head coach, which Sullivan, Lavy, and Gallant are NOT.

And BTW, another point that seems to be getting missed (or ignored), CHRIS DRURY CLEARLY HAS STATED OVER AND OVER AGAIN HE DOES NOT WANT TO REBUILD AND PLAY FOR THE FUTURE. You guys ignore that and pretend it doesn't exist because you don't agree with it, therefore it isn't true and it isn't how Drury CLEARLY feels and has said so MANY times.

Reality guys, whether you think I'm an a** or being rude or whatever - it doesn't change the facts:

1. Chris Drury is the one constant through all of this mess, not the multiple head coaches over the past four seasons.
2. You do not hire vet proven winner head coaches and expect them to play kids and build for the future.
3. Chris Drury has said over and over again multiple times, this is not a rebuild, he is not looking for some long-term project. Just because you don't agree or don't like it, doesn't mean it isn't true.
3A. To build off 3, Drury makes his intentions very clear with the three coaches he has hired over the past four seasons, ALL vet proven winner coaches, not guys you would expect to play kids and build for the future.

Rangers should make a huge youth movement next season in hopes that maybe in 3 years you have a young team capable of going deep with Shesterkin in net. Drury will do what he always does. Listen to his asswipe head coach, sign reject veterans for the 3rd and 4th lines and let kids rot in the minors.
