Do you like the "Baby Dame" character from the commercials?

Chris Paul never misses. What a comparison, when he and Lillard are on the same court.

As if Paul is facing 1/10th of the defensive pressure and attention that Dame is. Not to mention you can't breathe on Paul without being called for a foul. That's why all of his shots are uncontested set shots or floaters.

How is it that Terry has yet to figure out a counter the Clippers' trapping defense against Dame in 4 seasons now? Terry can make adjustments. We saw that last night.

God damn. Stop sending a pick, run weakside shit to throw their attention and let Dame go 1 on 1.

His only answer is to bring up a big to set a screen, then wheel the big into the paint for Dame to pass to for a layup or dunk. So far, it's working to an extent.

But I agree with you: beyond that, Stotts is pretty useless when it comes to making adjustments.

Horrible way to end a half. Hack a Jordan only takes your offense out of rhythm, I've seen it happen time after time around the league. Lucky to be only down 7, I think the Blazers bench has to significantly out perform the Clippers bench for the Blazers to have a shot at the end.

You can thank Stotts for that. It makes me want to cut my pinky toe off with a chisel.

Apparently some people in the forum still throw Lillard under the bus after one or two bad performances. Let's not forget about his stretch averaging 30 a game where without his scoring and leadership, we wouldn't of won games. People need to chill, it's a back to back and they are trapping dame and frustrating him. Same with cj

Yup. Clippers are a horrible match up for him. I half expected it. Dame is still our man.

This. Our inability to adjust to screens and double-teams is on Stotts, not Lillard.

It's worked maybe 3 times that I've seen. Davis twice wheeled to the basket and Plumlee did it once. Versus how many times that we pissed away the possession by dicking around the entire shot clock or flat out throwing the ball away?

Point. Like I said: "to an extent".

Hey, Drew Estate is coming to 82nd Pipe & Tobacco on the 7th of April, from 4PM-7PM. I'll be heading there to smoke a Undercrown Connecticut Robusto. If anyone would like to join me, you're welcome to do so. Probably some discounted merchendice and cigars being offered, but I'm not entirely sure.

Chris Paul having whatever he wants because we don't defend that kid range jumper for whatever reason

Plumlee takes that elbow shot once every 6-7 games and somehow makes it.

Chris Paul hasn't even come close to making any of the 3 contested shots he's taken this half.

Why is Plums waving off a wide open Dame and taking a hook shot?
