I have some thoughts basketball wise, and Ill probably come tomorrow and talk about it, but tonight Im just gonna hope that Nurks getting good news, that they have him stablized (looked like he was in shock), sucks too that the rest of the team has to pick up and leave for a road trip so they wont be around.

Dude Nurkic will be fine. It’s a clean break and we’re praying for the big fella. He just signed a nice contract as well he’ll be fine for life. Go sit down and relax this is a basketball forum and that’s all I’m doing discussing possible routes we can take. Fuck

Nurk was a beast.
Not on Stotts for playing the guy who was the best player on the court.

If Nurk sits in 2nd OT and Portland loses because of playing Kanter over Nurk.

You know the refs in the NBA control 95% of outcome. It is the most rigged and controlled game out of any sport. The crazy thing is if the NBA shot callers feel any pity towards blazers and want to make a feel good story out of it, they could wheel the blazers towards 2nd round and beyond as long as Blazers keep the game close. Today was perfect example refs going for nets hardcore the game should have been a blown out, but any contact was called a foul while we were not getting clean fouls at all. With kanter in the paint the refs could do a miracle it just depends if the nba wants that
 
Man if you wanna see some bullshit read the nets forum on Real Gm. The whole time they cried about the refs. Apparently they didnt see the ft discrepancy and the amount of physicality that happened. Before Curry stole and the ball and missed 1 of 2 free throws at the end of normal regulation dame should of had an and 1 but nah refs dont call it. Nets fans are.. well Ill stop.
 
I fell sorry for Nurk and this really hurt the team moving forward. But the other teams is not going fill sorry for us when they play us. Just like any other sports next man up. You still go out and give it all and try to win. But last thing Big man get well I am rooting for you and full recovery.
 
I will missed Nurk’s rebounding, block shots, passing skills, scoring and defense. We might advance to the 2nd round if our opponents are the Clippers.

Lillard is a great leader but can’t do it all. Even the great Michael Jordan needs Pippen and Rodman to win.

Doesnt matter. the hope is to win a champiosnhip, not to try and get to the second round. Don't get me wrong our chances were still slim even with Nurk and CJ when you have the fucking monstars in the warriors in your conference, not to mention other good west teams, but there was still a little hope. Thats all shattered even if CJ comes back because Nurk is that important.
 
Nurk and Dame my fav players. I’m sick. I really love this team cuz it’s not just a team it’s really a family. The coolest team in the NBA that way. And we were gelling, I couldn’t get enough of watching Nurk play. Praying for you Nurk and looking forward to the day that you come back 100%. At least Nurk has the best teammates in the world backing him up.
 
We have zero chance without Nurk. Just develop Collins and give the young guys some play.
 
We need Nick Foles to take us to the promise land... maybe that’s Kanter or Meyers haha
