Yeah, Montreal sweeping a home and home against the Panthers is a huge blow to the Rangers longshot playoff chances. It puts them on life support when you look at the Rangers tough remaining schedule, sitting 2 points behind Montreal - who have a pretty easy remaining schedule, and tied with CBJ who have a game in hand on the Rangers and also have a pretty easy remaining schedule. Looking extremely bleak.

The Rangers are also sitting 12th from the bottom overall, so still right on the top 13 line to keep or lose their 1st round pick this year.
