Montreal has an easy schedule, and ours is impossible.

These early afternoon starts are normally disasters. 12:30?! UGH.

Yeah, I think two recent things torpedoed the Rangers longshot playoff hopes. The point the Rangers pathetically gave away against the Ducks AND the 2 points Montreal got against the Panthers by tying the game last second and then winning in OT. Those two games really crushed any legit hopes.

All the Rangers can do is win, against a very tough schedule, and hope for the best.

The Rangers must have been drunk when they acquired Soucy. He blows.

Just turned the game on and I see Mika for two fucking minutes on the pp. This moron coach can’t get the fuck out of here soon enough

This coach should’ve been fired in December along with that moron Drury

I’m actually rooting for them to lose at this point and keep our pick.

If you truly want to rebuild they need to be worse next year. They will lose that pick. He probably should’ve asked for next year top 13 protected

Outside of Shesterkin I'm not sure anyone else on the team deserves above a C grade this year. Maybe Panarin.

Cuylle has been excellent and so has Brodzinsky. Carrick and Schneider I’ve been good in their roles.

Panarin may bring a shit load more than Zibanadouche and Kreider. They need to move him in the offseason

The Devils play desperate and our guys play like they don’t give a fuck.

Well, fortunately or unfortunately this embarrassment will pretty much put an end to things this season. Far too many games like this.

Schneider needs to be in a top 4 role next season, period, which means K. Miller needs to go IMO. I would not sign him long term and instead would deal him and Kreider this summer.

As I keep saying, good luck dealing Zibanejad with a NMC, an $8.5M cap hit, and 5 years remaining on his deal. He is most likely the one untradeable player on the team.

I actually rather they give up their pick this year, but that seems unlikely because they are terrible and have clearly packed it in. Knowing next year's 1st rounder goes to the Pens, Drury needs to do EVERYTHING in his power to ensure the Rangers are back near the top, including potentially dealing their 1st rounder this year for a top LD or top wing.

You don't like giving up an early 3rd round pick for a 3rd pair or depth dman...;). And in reality, they gave up 2nd and 5th round picks for Soucy, that's the package they gave up for Smith, who ultimately turned into Soucy. We call that a Drury special.

At this point, with the stench of the season, I think everyone needs to go. My guess is clueless Dolan will not fire Drury though, and he'll get to fire/hire another head coach. Rinse and repeat with Drury.

I know I’ve mentioned it before, but the regression has been unbelievable. From a top power-play unit to 27th in the league.

Othmann, Cuylle and Perreault not a minus in this game. This goes to show you the vets on this team don’t give a fuck for the most part. If the power-play isn’t gonna be very good, then there’s no point in keeping Fox here.

The second SH goal was a perfect example of Fox's defensive incompetence, first pinching too deep with 3 behind the net then instead of staying with Bratt he covers neither. I don't think Drury will be fired unless an obvious upgrade comes on the market but I like the fact that he's drafting guys with size. I don't see how Drury can be blamed for the embarrassment CK has become, down 50 points from last year, his offseason workout regime produced results on par with Laraque's fighting lessons for Rempe. Othmann should be getting more minutes, Lav needs to cut back the 75% effort vets and let Brennan play with Panarin or JT. The Rangers desperately need a crease clearing dman, Trouba was that guy for a few years now there's no one.

Kreider has 5 assists in 62 games. That means he creates absolutely nothing when he is on the ice. He is a line killer. He’s been on the 4th line where he belongs

Messier said today the same thing I posted after the wild game about how the Canadiens were excited to win an overtime and the Rangers didn’t give a fuck when they won in overtime.

They should bring up four or five kids from Hartford and let them get the remaining games to see how far they are away from making the pros or what they have to work on in order to make the pros at this point.

Is it even worth scoreboard watching at this point?
