Meyers 10 rebounds so far in the first half. With the lack of scoring we really need that from him.

Can he get 20?

Most of this quarter it's been either C.J. or Dame in the game, but not both. I hope we see plenty of them on the court together in the second half. With all the players we're missing, we NEED at least two scoring threats in the game at all times and C.J. and Lillard are all we have tonight.

BNM

That's true

What would be really frustrating would be to lose this game and then have LMA, Nic and Kaman not look rested or play like shit the next game.

Meyers is playing great. Unlike Joel, he has also played smart and stayed out of foul trouble. One of his two fouls was completely bogus.

It's too easy to stop an offense with only one scorer. Stotts is going to have to get both of them on the court together, AND other players are going to have to step up.

Yeah, with Nic out, Meyers is our surrogate Frenchman - not looking for his own shot but filling up the rest of the stat sheet.

We need the ORL version of Afflalo tonight. He needs to be our third scorer!

Yeah I wasn't knocking Meyers. He's working, obviously. I didn't expect him to have 10 boards and also 20 points in a half. But it would be cool. :)

This. This is a game where we really need Arron. So far he's 2-7 with 2 rebounds and nothing else. If someone is going to step up, it has to start with him.

Still don't understand throwing this game away. Goodbye HCA.

Well, one thing we've learned tonight (just in case we didn't already know it) - we're not the Spurs. We can't rest guys and still compete, not even with a crappy 7th seed Eastern Conference.

We were asking for too much thinking we could win this game with a hungry nets team.

Great game by cj tho and let's just pray for no injuries. Hopefully Crabbe shows us something as well..

I'm just shocked Stotts would concede home court advantage by not bringing the full firepower on this trip it's not like these guys fly coach

This would be such a stupid game to lose. Frustrating. I'm not saying we can't win but Lillard will have to exhaust himself to do it. Makes no sense that we all see this and Stotts doesn't.

Arron and Allen: Please come to the party. We need you.

What we've really learned is Dame is not at the level we think he is. I would of thought he would dominate, but he's been turning the ball over and not able to handle the blitz pressure

If, heaven forbid, we are out of this game at the beginning of the 4th, I hope to god Stotts rests Lillard the rest of the way instead of fighting to close the gap at the end.

This nets team is so bad. Handing them a win is frustrating

Yep, that's what I said way back at the beginning of the thread. It makes no sense to throw away a winnable game when you've worked so hard all year to have a shot at HCA.

Yikes. Down 16 at the half. Outscored 32-13 in the second quarter? That's brutal.

Totally agree with you. I don't know if the scouting report has caught up with Lillard but he's not as good as he was the prior two years. Ironically some stats are career highs but just strictly eye test wise he's clealry not better. I don't know what it is but we go from arguing if he's top 5 pg to barley top 10 now. I hope LMA doesn't pick this observation up

If we're gonna win this game, we need to hold Brooklyn under 90 points. We don't have the guns to beat them with offense. We must defend.

Wow. Lopez is a complete No-Show in this game. Same with Blake. Afflalo not much better. These three guys need to bring something to the 3rd quarter. I expected more from them.
