Guaranteed at least .500 on the season.
This probably isn't as respected as it should be in the West this year.

Yes, everyone is aware of what happened. Think that happens twice in a row after them not losing at home all year?Boston beat GS off at b2b... Just sayin
Bullshit. We can beat GS. Can't throw away any game at this point in the season. He will get TONS of rest coming up. I'm the final TEN DAYS before the playoffs, we play TWO GAMES, both at home. He will get a TON of rest. Everyone will. There's a game to win tomorrow.
Oh so 2-3 years from now? By then Lillard will be damn near 30 lol
But you just want us to keep "participating" so your happy either way
Sorry I WANT RINGS
To rest him for games that are more winnable. They play 4 games in 5 nights and GS isn't losing 2 in a row at home after only one loss all season. He needs the rest....that is indisputable.
Boom.Roasted.And some how telling the players to intentionally lose will get you rings?
Again, that makes no sense. Learning to win, learning to work together, to achieving a goal, is more important.
You want 15 players to lose to gain a draft pick for a player that has just as good a chance at being a bust as they do being a meaningful contributor. We're gaining for more by having these 15 players work together, fight together, and exceed all reasonable expectations.
You're trying so hard to shit all over the success of this season but the reasons you're giving for doing it makes no sense.
Golden State has multiple injuries and is not playing as they were earlier this season. Now that the streak is over I could actually see them having a let down game.
I'm the one who created threads questioning Stotts overworking our stars. At this point in the season the damage is done sitting one game doesn't make a difference.
Rest needs to be taken throughout the year. Once their out of gas its too late. Dame won't fully recover until the summer.
Spurs lost in first round last year. Like I said, we have a ton of rest coming up. Look at THAT big picture.Yes, everyone is aware of what happened. Think that happens twice in a row after them not losing at home all year?
I want Portland to win but sometimes the bigger picture is important. 'Pop' is a HoF coach because of that ability.
In 3 years, he will be 28, just starting his prime.

Bullshit. MJ didn't win his first title til he was like 27 or 28.Thats actually the end of a players prime; starting the decline, based on PER of all star level players.

Spurs choked last year. If they had beaten Pelicans on the last day of the season, they would've been 2 seed and might've won it all.Quite the different scenario as you know. Spurs were forced to play a very good Clipper team because Portland was bumped to 4th when their record was only good for 6th. Also, the Spurs have won 5 Titles so I'd say that is the BIGGER picture versus just one season's anomaly which the league addressed so it doesn't happen again.
Pop doesn't sit players one time after 77 games of a season. He manages minutes throughout the entire year; monitors fatigue, recovery, strength for the whole season. It's too late at at this point for one game to make a difference.
Bullshit. MJ didn't win his first title til he was like 27 or 28.
When you have 2 turned ankles, it certainly helps more than it hurts.
Stars win most of their titles when they are older.Players can still have excellent seasons at age 28+. But on average its not their peak seasons.

You guys are forgetting Duncan is much older than Dame. When Duncan was Dame's age, he played all 82 fuckimg games. In fact, from 2000 to 2003, he only missed one game.
So you're going to ignore the point? Excuse my language but Pop didn't rest his stars when they were Dame's age.Oh good...cussing to make a point. I guess reasonable conversation and discussion is out.

Exactly. There's nothing wrong with expressing emotion.

That is ridiculous. Duncan was winning MVP awards. He completely carried that team. Dame has great teammates too.Tim played a lot back then but didn't have NEARLY the burden to carry as Dame does now. That takes a toll. He had Robinson and Avery Johnson, Sean Elliot etc and later Parker, Ginobilli and now Kawhi and LA. Anyone who has played high level basketball will tell you that is a HUGE difference in wear and tear on you both physically and mentally.
