Some people note that Miami's defense is worse with Whiteside on the floor. Well from what I've seen, he completely dominated the paint and anything the Blazers scored while he was in there had NOTHING to do with him. Because the rest of the players around him are bench players or wet toilet paper on D does not take away from the fact he was blocking everything in sight, deterring other shots and causing TO's just due to his presence. 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks in the first half.

And this is off the bench. Imagine starter minutes. I don't know, I'm just high on him.

It's a great question. Who knows? Many players do not live up to their big contract once it is signed so it is a legit concern with anyone you sign to big money.

I REALLY want Okafor, but he's likely to go to Indiana, and I don't know if we could afford him anyways.

I'd like to bring in Sullinger, he is really underrated.
