Curry-39, Klay-21, Draymond-22. Ain't nobody gonna beat that team when those guys are playing like that, I don't care how much better CJ plays.

There should be an asterisk by their record if they break the 72 win mark. The league is a joke now compared to the Jordan era.

All at home. And with their coaches (aside from Dallas) probably resting their key guys. Utah is tough at home.
Sure, if you being up hypothetical possibilities and conditions then sure it might look easy. They'd stI'll have to win out and we'd have to finish 2-3.

Then we should see more 72 win teams in the next few years?? Right?

I can't wait until this Warriors team detonates. It's going to happen. Curry will break his own ankles and then they'll crumble.

I don't see it happening. They will be like the San Antonio Spurs and add premium free agents at a discount as long as they keep their core together. It's one of the reasons the league is becoming a joke to me.

We let that happen...

The Spurs are doing virtually the same damn thing in the same damn season. They're only 5 wins behind them.

Guys from the 80s said the exact same thing about the Jordan era. In fact there were expansion teams in the Jordan era, lowering the overall talent level of the league. The Warriors are an incredible team.

We need get focus on the kings we haven't clinch anything yet. We still need 2 lost by Houston or 2 wins by us to clinch.

I agree but the Jordan-era Bulls tempered their metal against some dynasties. The Lakers, The Celtics and the Pistons. There is no teams in the league besides The Spurs that can out GS in a seven game series. And with free agency favoring winners, the league is becoming even more one sided. At least in the NFL and MLB you have some parity. That's not possible in the NBA.

I disagree with that. The Heat were the super team formed in free agency. The Warriors just drafted those guys and they have turned into this. Same thing with the Spurs, Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, Kawhi. They added LA but that team has been a dynasty for over a decade without adding the big names in free agency.
OKC..they just drafted KD and Russ. There are 4 teams that can win the Finals this year in my opinion and all but the Cavs are basically home grown.

Plus we are talking about the Jordan team that won 72, which was well after the Lakers, Celtics and Pistons stopped being dynasties. That team had to face a few teams that could truly play with them, the Knicks, Magic, Sonics, Jazz, but after that it was some pretty bad teams including 2 expansion teams.

I know one thing, that Bulls team would have easily beaten this Warriors team in five games. Pippen on Curry, Jordan on Klay and Rodman on Draymond. All three of those players were superior defenders to what the Warriors currently have. In fact, that Bulls team would have licked their chops at this Warriors team. They would have matched up perfectly against them, but the Warriors wouldn't have had an answer for Jordan.

Depends on what era of rules are being called.

The current rules and the past rules would have favored the Bulls. Hand checking allowed? They would knock Curry around the court. No hand checking? They would have no shot of containing Jordan. Meanwhile, Pippen would have had the length, quickness, and talent to defend Curry.

You know what's great about these hypotheticals? They're always going to be hypotheticals. No one will ever be proven wrong!

There's nobody in the league like Jordan right now. How would they defend him? Draymond? Klay? Double? The Bulls saw plenty of small scoring guards that could be similar to Curry.

Sure, it's a hypothetical, but you can compare the two rosters and see that many of the Bulls' strengths would have been advantageous against the Warriors.

In your opinion.

This wasn't a game Portland was ever going to win. I liked how they competed for the 1st half though and even the the loss seemed much more than likely, I don't like HOW they lost. GS can score, no doubt but Portland gave up a regulation season high to the Warriors. They scored more on us than they have scored against anyone else all season long. That is the concern....not that they lost.

Gotta remember this team is one of the greatest of all time already with the greatest shooter we have ever seen. I have confidence we will make the 5th seed. Memphis is a wreck. Sacramento is tough on Tuesday but I think we get it done. I also feel like okc will pull a strategy and sit out durant and Westbrook because who wouldn't want to play Memphis in the playoffs. They are bad right now. Minnesota and Denver could be trap games but I have confidence this team only loses one of the last four

The Bulls had three HOFers.

How many will the Warriors have after it's all said and done?

Jordan as an MVP, DPoY was so far above where Curry is as just an offensive player. It's really not that close.

I'm sure someone has already mentioned it, but playing the key guys tonight has to be the dumbest thing Stotts has done during his time here. We had maybe a 1% chance of winning. Give them some much needed rest, damn it! Even if they say they want to play, make an executive decision.

We have lots of rest coming. You can't throw away a shot at winning a game because that could cost us the playoffs.

That's weak even by your rosy standards. We have a day off then a back to back against Sacto and OKC, both of which are must wins. We had virtually no chance of beating a GS team fresh off their first home loss of the year and still chasing the best record of all time. If we lose either of the upcoming games, it's a major fail on Stotts' part not resting them tonight.
