Out in 5? Come on that really is the sky is falling. Toss this game out we didnt care nor had our best player.

I think Wesley would have cared if he had been on the floor tonight. And this game just didn't feel good to me.

Looking at the effort on D and boxing out/rebounding, it really seems like the team knew this game ment nothing.
Stotts has gotta do a better job in the future on firing the team up for pointless games.

It was pointless in the standings and I already said Stotts did a horrible job getting this team prepared for this game because we acted like we were going to waltz through this game and win it no matter what. I can't explain it, but this team gives off the "We don't give a fuck" attitude from time to time this year and it reared its ugly head tonight. Who cares if there's nothing tangible to play for. Play for pride. Play for the fans who had to pay asinine ticket prices to see two short-handed squads. Play to get into a postseason rhythm, we which have none of at the moment.

What scares me the idea he might think to hook up with Kahwi and the home state Spurs..

There was always that possibility. I know a lot of you mocked Quick a couple years ago when he said LA was ready to leave. I think there was prob something to that. The fact is until he is signed we won't be at peace with the idea.

and why are we playing Nic and Lillard near 38 minutes? Rolo 32? Why aren't we resting these guys? I don't fukkin get it. If Lillard wants to keep his strek alive fine, play him 15 minutes or so and then rest him. Pure stupidity IMO

Does it really matter? We haven't played well for awhile now at this point we all know next year is our preparation year

I think it matters as they should be as rested as reasonably possible so they can have the opportunity to play their best and also tired players have more chance if injury

It doesn't matter if their fully rested we still won't do anything this year. It's over. We have about a 30 percent chance of advancing out the first round and if we beat those odds we face a phenomenal golden state warriors team who will demolish us..

Whether we win or lose it's also about getting more experience, especially for guys like CJ, Meyers and even Crabbe.

Warriors can't guard Aldridge over the course of a playoff series. Did you see the last game? Green had to foul and flop. That was all he could do.

He should have taken a timeout (if we had one left) but outside of that there was actually nothing he could have done. No one was open at all and only dame was even trying to get open (although a little late). Bad play call.

Aside from my normal "sky is falling" routine after a loss like this... guys, the sky really is falling on the Blazers' season. They are out in 5 in the first round, regardless of their opponent, if this is the performance we can expect. Aldridge or no.... come on, guys.

It's a good thing this isn't "the performance we can expect".
